Honest Review as a First year student.

Likes

The campus is really beautiful as well as bigger than other ipu colleges.
The gender ratio including all the courses in the campus is pretty good, but if we talk only about B.tech then girls are pretty less.
Library and sports support is really good.

Dislikes

The washroom are really bad in the campus, they need a lot of improvement.
Many classes do have AC but some of them in the B.Tech blocks dosent.
College infrastructure really needs improvement. It does looks nice from the outside but it isnt from the inside.

Placement Experience:

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

Inside USICT

Likes

Compared to private engineering colleges,USICT offers quality education at lower cost and along with a government college tagPlacements too are decent.
Being in Dwarka,Delhi, it has easy connectivity with various parts of the city.
Good coding culture, since cutoffs of JEE mains are very high for outside delhi candidates some part of crowd is actually very talented and hardworking.

Dislikes

Placements are decent,some students get placed in top companies but still improvement is needed as only about 65-70% got placed in year 2024
Limited hostel seats are available, making it difficult for many outstation students.
Boys to girls ratio is very very bad like it is about 60:7 or even lesser.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements were at boom in year 2022 with average of about 12lpa and about 95% of students got placed. There has been a decline in placements after that year but it is still decent . USICT gives you opportunities to sit in placement interviews of big companies but a stundent has to work hard to get it. Average package for previous year was nearly 7.5-8 Lpa. Some recruiters of USICT include Amazon,Samsung,Nagarro,Adobe,Oracle,JP Morgan,Airtel and many more.

University school of enjoyment and dissapointment

Likes

I liked the events that are organised frequently.
I liked the facility of variety of sports.
I liked the annual fest anugoonj it's very engaging

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty they just teach and don't care about what we learned
I dont like the student freedom they do mass bunks
I don't like the exam facility for conducting exams

Placement Experience:

Students are available for campus placements from semester 7th in the last year. Several companies game like cvent, Yamaha etc. the number of offers are not disclosed till now. The highest package this year was around 14 lacs per annum and the average package was 7-8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is not disclosed to us. My plans after degree is to pursue Mba

Me and some insights about my college

Likes

The culture of college in various aspects like interaction between senior and juniors And their coding clubs they organised time to time events

Dislikes

The downfall in placement is too drastic like when I got admission the average package was 14 lakh but for my batch it has been dropped to 4 lakh in which only 45% students have been placed only

Usict Genuine Review.

Likes

I liked the campus as it is pretty big and there is greenery everywhere, the campus is very clean and maintained.
I liked the fun activities at the campus as there are many events going on throughout the year.
Faculty is very good they have good knowledge and are very helpful.

Dislikes

Classrooms are not air conditioned, like according to the fees i guess the room should be air conditioned.
In many classrooms projectors are not working and they are very lazy to fix it.
Washrooms are not much clean and maintained.

Placement Experience:

College placements are not very good but you can expect a 5,00,000 package average. When you enter in 7th semester you are eligible for internships and campus placements. You also have to get summer training just after the 5th semester. companies that visited USICT are ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, FINVEST, TEJAS NETWORKS, etc. The highest package as much as I remember was made by Adobe I guess and it was 44 lpa. 70%-85% students get placed approx. I would personally love to explore jobs off-campus.

USICT college worth it or not

Dislikes

The extremly high cuttoff on which students get admission but our university not give placement according to this cuttoff

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students are eligible for placement in my college mostly companies is first offer for internship and then that internship is converted into full time placement.The number of comanies visited in my campus is less and not even comparible with nsut or dtu. average package 10lakhs and our highest package is 44 lakhs in 2020. But after covid the recession is started and in result the companies in now giving package of rs 6lakhs and max to max to 12lakhs.

My Review

Likes

Only three courses are offered at University School of Information communication and technology.
Since we only have three courses that is computer science, information technology and electronic engineering the batch size is low.
Since the batch size is low placement are quite good compared to other colleges.

Dislikes

Most of the students in electronic brach are more inclined towards computer science topics.
Since most students are inclined towards coding we are not able to take electronics topics as electives.
Electronics is suffering, we were not able to opt for vhdl which is a good topic for electronics students.

Placement Experience:

My third year finals are going on and already many companies have started there placement drives. Although companies for ece are quite less. The package offered is fair for starting ones carrier. The highest package offered to our immediate seniors was 40 LPA.

Likes

Campus is good and green building are good an
No attendance criteria till now but Dean are taking concern for attendance might apply the criteria from next session
Normal labs having working equipment and can perform simple practical

Dislikes

Construction in campus making campus air and environment very bad
No places remained for games like lawn tennis and basketball ball
No AC classes for students of B.Tech. and M.Tech students in USICT

The course of B.tech has around 50+ theory subjects and 40+ practical subjects. Which can provide you a brief knowledge about the trending and outdated technologies in the industry and you can choose subjects according to you for further exploration and future studies.

Likes

College has good campus, with good faculty support.
Good canteen and amul, Nescafe facilities.
Good playing area included: basketball court, cricket ground, badminton court, volleyball net, Table tennis, Football ground etc.

Dislikes

Sometimes college facilities problem, while giving information about classes.
All other things are good here, don't dislike.

Placement Experience:

From the last of 3rd year and the starting of 4th year the companies starts to visit the campus for the placements and some companies come for the internships also for the ending of 2nd year. Highest package of here is 45 lpa(hike) and average is around 7 lpa( alot of companies), around 70% - 80% students gets placed from here. My plans are to take the good placement from the college.

College Life at USICT

Likes

Good infrastructures and also campus was very big.
Great supports of teachers and also teachers have good knowledge about my fields.

Dislikes

Overall placement may due to recession was not good.

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college was good till 2022 but after that due to recessions there will be decrease in the total number of placed students.In oncampus various companies visites like Amazon,oracle,etc.
