What Students Say

Likes

Only three courses are offered at University School of Information communication and technology.
Since we only have three courses that is computer science, information technology and electronic engineering the batch size is low.
Since the batch size is low placement are quite good compared to other colleges.

Dislikes

Most of the students in electronic brach are more inclined towards computer science topics.
Since most students are inclined towards coding we are not able to take electronics topics as electives.
Electronics is suffering, we were not able to opt for vhdl which is a good topic for electronics students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum is changing itself with the needs of the time. Our Juniors have two minors and a major examination. The breakdown of marks has also changed. Compulsory internship has also been introduced. Although since it is a new area implement of these things in a smooth manner would take time. It has been a year now and things have started to settle now.

Internships Opportunities

Many internship offers are there mainly for roles like backend, gave dev, web dev, mernstack even sales intern and operations till now. The stipend amount is good . Many have a high stripend amount as well.

Placement Experience

My third year finals are going on and already many companies have started there placement drives. Although companies for ece are quite less. The package offered is fair for starting ones carrier. The highest package offered to our immediate seniors was 40 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure has significantly changed and I am not quite aware of the new breakdown. There are many scholarship that one can prevail, ews , college scholarships for minorities. Our college has a unique scholarship opportunity for 3rd year students called Prakhar Dua scholarship. In this every aspect like Sports, cultural activities and. Studies are taken into account for scholarship and covers the whole college fee for the 3rd year.

Campus Life

There are many societies like swar, aveksha , dsoc. Cultural fest Anugoonj is a very important part for the college. Everyone waits for it. Many facilities like atal incubation centre, idea lab are set up, are working all year round.

Admission

Jee mains score is required for addmission in this college. Application form can be found at the site of ggsipu. Previously cet used to be conducted by ipu for admission purpose which was discontinued. For mtech gate score is used.

Faculty

We have a diverse facility. As far as teaching is considered all are fabulous teachers. They drive us towards research as a future opportunity, help is many ways. The difficulty of the papers set is also good and the curriculum designed is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

DTU - our soul , heart love and the pain of it

placements are rather nice ,specially of tech branch is quite nice , from what semester we are eligible , most students are from 5th semester eligible for internship and from 7th for actual placements , lot of companies do visit : sometimes bain ,mckinsey ,samsung,xiamo. otherwise local companies tcs , tata etc . lot of startup are coming nowdays which are offering lot of things. highest package was 80 lpa around by samsusng as far i remember for ai, ml enginner . percentage of student getting placed for my branch is around 70%. my plans would be to get internship in 5th semester and then make it a ppo

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

MAIT - The Goods and The Bads

Placement Experience:

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Honest college review by a fresher

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon,infosys,zepto,paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

The admission process is entirely based on the NIMCET entrance exam. One should achieve a good rank in the NIMCET entrance exam in order to get admission to this college. The eligibility for getting admission in MCA is that you should have math's or computer science in your bachelors and have got at least 55% marks in your bachelors. If I talk about reservations, IPU reserves around 60% of the seats for Delhi students.
