Ques. What is the eligibility for placements at USICT Delhi?
Ans. USICT Delhi follows the eligibility rules & regulations given below.
- Successfully completed the semester examinations/course with a CGPA equivalent to 6 or higher, and with no active backlogs.
- Satisfactory conduct with no disciplinary action throughout the program.
- Good attendance record in their courses and has good participation in Placement Activities (Guest Lectures/ Seminars/ Conferences/ Industry Visits etc).
Ques. What is the placement scenario of BTech at USCIT Delhi?
Ans. Students claim that BTech students have a 98% chance of getting placed in USIT. If one is in CS/IT, they might get an offer greater than INR 5 LPA, or else most of the students are placed in TCS or Infosys. Many people prefer to go for higher studies, especially from the ECE branch. The placement success of students is totally attributed to the student merit itself, and not to the Placement Cell or the faculty.
Ques. What is the placement scenario after doing only BTech from USICT (GGSIPU)?
Ans. Students and alumni report that a company which visits every year is TCS, which places half of the candidates of USICT, offering around INR 3.5 LPA. That placement opportunity is based on your percentage criteria and your performance at the time of interview. One must prepare themselves with their aptitude, verbal and communication skills because TCS rounds of interviews are also not easy. Other companies visit with higher packages in the band of INR 4 LPA-INR 16 LPA. The packages are based on your branch and percentage criteria. Some companies which hire for CSE & IT, don't allow ECE to sit for placements. Similarly, companies which hire for ECE don't allow CSE and IT candidates to appear for placements.
