Course Curriculum Overview

5

Actually i wanted to join IIT Delhi and i was ready to take any branch at IIT Delhi so according to my rank i got Bio technology at IIT Delhi. The course prepares us well for real-world applications and academic pursuits. I dont think there is need of any improvement in the course cirriculum or teaching methods. The exams at IIT Delhi vary from being very easy to very hard depending on the subject

Internships Opportunities

5

Many companies visit our college for intership and our intership process is done through OCS in which we need to enter all our details and CV and interested comapnies approach us . Depening on how is your cg you get stipend for the intership upto 30 lakhs per month. As i am in 1st year i have no idea about what kind of projects are done in future years

Placement Experience

5

In the 4th year that is after 7th sem you become eilgible for campus placements. Actually people get jobs before they get their college degree!! Various big companies visit our college for college placement like google, microsoft, nestle, meta ,infosis etc. As i talk about my branch 90% student get placement in my college with an average package of 1500000 and highest package in my branch is 2 Crore. My plan after degree is to simply do a nice job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The 1 semester fees which we pay is 114000, which includes 1 lakh tution fees and the the rest charges are 8000 for hostel rent, the remaining are exam charges. The admission fees during josaa councling was 30000 and the mess fees which we pay per semester is 35000. For SC ST the tution fees are zero they need to only pay the hostel fees and exam fees. There are no lab charges as i already mentioned. We have differentent scholariship programes by our college aluminis and only few selected people get this scholarhip

Campus Life

5

We have have many fest through out the year and the most two famous fest are the 1) RDV which is held in the month of September and the second is the tech fest called tryst organised in the month of March. There more than 1 lakh in our library and we get get vaarious book in the library according to availability. As i already mentioned the classrooms are very good and neatly maintanied also we have projectors in our class. We have well managed sports ground of cricket football basketball volleyball etc and also a sports complex. Yes have student run social groups like clubs for example dance, music, drama, lits, ocs, etc and also it has a huge impact on students life

Hostel Facilities

5

We have been provided with a personal study table and a bed also a cuboard (personal) and also a book shelf with shoe racks . The mess food is quite average i will not say good but yeah you can eat here. The hostels are allotated randomly at the very start you get admission at IIT Delhi and at the mentioned date you need to register at the hostel for room allocation. In the local area as i mentioned in gs rai there are pgs with a rent starting from 5000 Rs.

Admission

After jee advance you need not apply at Different IITS but we have josaa councelling and through it we get admission in IITs and NITs. The process for josaa councelling is after jee mains and jee advance results are out you need to fill the choices of college with branch and their are 5 rounds in josaa councelling and the top most choice which you will be getting according to your rank you will be given admission in that college. For IITs you need to give first jee mains then be in top 2.5 lakh people in jee main so that you can qualify in jee advance and you need to be in top 13000 in jee advance to get admission at IITs

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio in some subjects is 1:300 and for some subjects it is 1:150 in 1st year as in 1st year everyone has to study same courses. Also we get a personal teaching assistant 1 for 40 students and he/she solve our doubts in tutorial classes. The faculty i liked the most is the agnihotri sir , he is a physics teacher and he has such a great knowledge about his subject and i am very very impressed by him. There is no faculty which i had not liked. We have exams whole semester in the order quiz1, minor exam, quiz2, major exam which have their weightage as decided by the faculty

Night Life

5

Each hostel has its own gym also advanced gym are their in the sports complex for which you need to purchase the membership. We have library in our college which is quite huge and more than 2000 people can study in it at a time . Also we have no in timings in the hostel nor in the campus!! that sounds crzy right and its true you can go wherever you want whole night and come anytime. We have gs rai beside our college also we go to india gate by cycling at night and also qutub minar is quite close to our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
