Course Curriculum Overview
We have compulsory design credits which we have to do those include NSS serivce, internship, ethics courses etc which force use to break our bubble and try to work in real world. We have many cultural, technical and other culture. There is mid sem and end sem paper with nearly alternate week quiz.
Internships Opportunities
We been offered different roles from SDE, analyst to core jobs in many different company with stipend ranging from 20,000/month- 5,00,000/month. We have opportunity for research internship also available which actually offer less stipend comparatively. Wr have different project available to work on just like different roles.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem start we qualify for campus placement. Nearly 800 offers made with nearly all big MNCs and many good startup and all best Indian companies. Highest package-1.80 Cr by Tower for quantative analyst role and avg package of 12Lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
For General category BTech student IIT delhi with parental income above 8,00,000 the annual tution fee is around 2,00,000 with total course cost about 900000 without hostel. No scholarship applies, and fees rise slightly after 3-4 years.
Campus Life
4 main festivals are organized yearly. 1. Rendevous- Cultural fest 2.Tryst- Technical fest 3. Becon- For entrepreneurship related activites 4. Virasat- Traditional cultural fest Projector extra available in campus. Nearly all famous book in each genre and subject. We have stadium, basketball court, indoor sport facilites and swimming pool etc available
Hostel Facilities
Meal quality, with mean change on monthly basis. With in a week 2 times non veg option to avail without extra fees. Breakfast, lunch and dinner to eat and for evening snakes extra charges applied. We have to pay more fee if i rented PG room for myself
Admission
I apply in other IITs and for different branches and I got selected for all of them nearly but i selected IIT Delhi due to proximity from my home and due to its alumini network and state of art education facilites
Faculty
IIT delhi has an excellent faculty to student ration with highly qualifiesd professors who are approachable and supportative. The course structure is well-balanced, combining theory and practical learning.
Night Life
We have night mess available in each hostel in night and library and LHC closed after 3AM so we can study if we want till that time. No restriction on campus and hostel timing. For hangout we have garden, park, CCD available inside campus and for outside Hauz Khas is available
