- Well, the campus is really awesome and well cleaned. the whole campus is spread in around 350 acres . aal the hostels are available in campus and u can keep ur personal cycle and ullu byke are also available at campus .
- Well, the facilities members are really much qualified and having lovely nature. They always try to help students as mush they can . They help students to pursue their career in next level. Wel, the boys vs girls ratio is around 3:1 .
Dislikes
- Well, I really like campus and I don't think that I've any issues with this college.
- Well, sometimes the mess food qualities are not much good as u aspect but, it really good from outside the campus and it's healthy for our body .
Placement Experience:
Well, IIT DELHI has 99% placement in whole branch and there are so much big companies come who offer much like 1 crore, 2 crore but, some students rejec their offer just bcz they have better option than this . Well, it's impossible that u Will not get placement in the whole 4th year if ur course but, if something like this will happen then u can easily apply for off campus placement wher u will easily get job just bcz u have done ur eng. from IIT DELHI. Well, as in this year around total 13200 offer comes in IIT Delhi for providing job . Each student's have more than 10 offers for getting placed . Well, all the big companies who provide better salary like Google, microsoft, apple, and also foreign companies comes here .

- IIT DELHI focusses not only just on the mental and academic development but also focusses on the overall development of the individual. the co curricular activities are the main source of development of students by enhancing their hobbies
- there are regular counselling sessions for checking about the mental health of people and their mental state so that students can refrain themselves from indulging in any negative aspects of life. the counsellors are really friendly.
Dislikes
- the weather conditions of delhi are really extreme which makes it quite difficult to live over here in campus . in summers the environment is very humid and in winters the temperature goes very low.
- the cleanliness of our hostel washrooms is not appreciable and they are a bit smelly . the mess food is okay but it should be improvedand it is not very good in taste
Placement Experience:
* from fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the semester from which we are eligible are 7th semester and 8th sem.but there are some students who even get placements from 3rd year that iss 6 th semester due to their capabilities . *in the yesr 2024 the notable recruiter includes *air india *microsoft * goldman sachs *bajaj auto *texas instruments * ola electrics. these companies extended 1050 job offers also inluding ppo's *the highest salasry pacakge was 2 crorre internationally and 1 crore domestic package.the core sector emerged as the highest recruiting domain , inluding about 42 percent of placements. * at the 2023 - 2024 placements season overall 84 percent of students werre successfully palced for placements.notably the cpre sector was the highest recruiter including 42 percent of the total placements. * welll although i am from biotech sector my main goal is going into consultancy .if it does not work then i will think of tech sector r upsc exam.

- The girls to boys ratio is 1:4. The campus life is pretty decent with a lot of events and competitions taking place.
- The seniors are very helpful. They are always willing to help in any way possible.

- There is huge competition between the students regarding marks and cumulative grade.
- The academic life is pretty hectic. The exams are almost always haunting the students.
Placement Experience:
IITD is pretty well known for its placement opportunuties. The average package in the CSED department may be around 35-40 lakh per annum and the highest package may shoot us as high as Rs 4 crore per annum. The companies include Jane Street, Microsoft, amazon, google and other well known tech giants and core companies from Indian and abroad. I plan to settle in a well paying job and later go in the line of entrepreneurship after gettingg my degtree. Almost 80 percent of the students are placed in my college. The students are eligible for the campus placements from the 4th semester onwards.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is well planed as students get cahnce to change their department after 1st year ,according to there merit. exams are held 2 times in a sem. minor and major , and quizes are held in between the exams .
Placement Experience:
Students generally get placements in the 4th year but can get pre placement offer in the 2nd or 3 year if they are extra ordinary in that field. Tata, zomato, hundai, swiggy, google, Microsoft etc big companies come for placements in our college. The avg offers made are around 20-22 lakhs for mechanical engineering and the highest ever for mechanical is 55 lakhs last year. 90 percent student gets placement but those 10 percent are those students who want to do start up or want to pursue higher studies. My plan is to do a Start up after degree
Placement Experience:
The placements of this college is renowned in the entire country as the best in the country. The placement process could also be studied closely by UG students if they volunteer for certain management roles during the season.

- The kind of people that my college fosters around me.
- The grand fests and events that take place frequently. Clubs, workshops, labs, etc.
Dislikes
- The campus becomes quite dark during examination days.
- The gender ratio is quite lower than what one would like.

Placements are great at my college. Apart from the dip in the pandemic, my college has maintained placement stats placing it at rank 1 in India. Various companies like Google, microsoft, goldmann sachs, da Vinci, etc come on campus for placements. About 80% students get placed each year.
Likes
- Being one of the best engineering colleges in India it has better equipments and facilities as compared to other colleges.
- Focuses on other parts also rather than studies.
Dislikes
- Though it is one of the best engineering colleges in India there's a very unequal gender ratio
- The hostel infrastructure is too old and sometimes I as a student face difficulty living in hostels

Generally the 4th year students are eligible for placement process where the students give interviews for the in campus placements. Whereas generally the good students get pre placement offers from different companies. A wide range of different companies come to take interviews like quant, tech, finance, etc. Generally, mostly good students having a CGPA above 7.5 get placed and the remaining try to get off campus placements. I also want to get a better placement in my 4th year

From 5th semester we are allowed for campus placements. Many tech and quant companies come for placements. Highest is about 4 crores.and average is about 50 lakhs More than 90 percent students get placements. To get in a big company.

Placement Rate is really good, almost all the students who are interested for taking up jobs end up getting placed. I, as of now plan to take up placments very seriously. Highest offer is in crores. The most I have heard once was of 4 crore from Jane Street.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?
The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season.
