For General category BTech student IIT delhi with parental income above 8,00,000 the annual tution fee is around 2,00,000 with total course cost about 900000 without hostel. No scholarship applies, and fees rise slightly after 3-4 years.

Student Snaps:

1Lakh 5 thousand tuition fee per semester. It is constant. For sc/st , tuition fee is 100% waiver , they have to only pay for admission fee i.e 20000 per semester and they also have to pay for hostel fee i.e. 40000 per semester.

A true IITD review

The 1 semester fees which we pay is 114000, which includes 1 lakh tution fees and the the rest charges are 8000 for hostel rent, the remaining are exam charges. The admission fees during josaa councling was 30000 and the mess fees which we pay per semester is 35000. For SC ST the tution fees are zero they need to only pay the hostel fees and exam fees. There are no lab charges as i already mentioned. We have differentent scholariship programes by our college aluminis and only few selected people get this scholarhip

Ok. So the year wise fee is as follows Tution fee is 1,00,000 Mess fee is 60,000 Extra(include electricity, maintenance, registration, addmission etc.) is around 20,000... There as variety of scholarship available.. First are for the sc/st students-- no tution fee.. Secondly- No mess fee for students with less 2lac parental income... Students with less than 8lac parental income get 1 lac rupees from yuva each year... This amount is to be returned after getting employed

The fees is divided in 2 types first is academic and other is mess fees and hostel one As im from general category i have to pay around 8-9 lakhs just for academic fees in 4 years Others who are from ews have around 10-20 percent waiver And sc/st have about 4-5 lakhs for 4 years

Life of a non-local Student at IIT delhi

The fee is semester wise-104000/semester So for year it is 208000. This is the tution fees. The hostel fees is 8000/semester. Which means it is 16000 for a year. The mess fees is nearly 40000/semester but it may vary according to the nenu they have kept. This is for a normal student without reservations. Others candidates have a concession in the tution fee payment. Income less than 1 lakh per annum have no tution fee. Income between 1 to 5 lakh have 33333 as tution fee.
