The curriculum is well defined and it is very practical and advanced. It is thoroughly revised every year for some changes in favour of the students. The labs and lectures are made for proper understanding of the concepts.

Learning more about growing semiconductor market, sparked my interest in electrical engineering. Curriculum doesn't prepare us for real life problems instead prepares us for question solving. Exams could be a less frequently

Due to my interest in Chemistry I choose this course. I choose this college because of it's brand value in research and innovation. Since IIT Delhi is well known for it's research and development department. I have excess to all the labs , as I can visit any lab with permission and can check what work is going into them. Also have access to sit in the conference of PhD students when they defend their thesis. There is no such recommendations because everything is good and most importantly here I understand the value of time.

The curriculum covers all branch courses in first year. Every student has to have the basics of EE, Mech, Chem, Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Your branch doesnt decide your placement and you can go to any stream you have interest in and find your carrer in that path. You can also take minor degrees and have 2 or more degrees for example: EE and CSE minor, Mech and CSE minor etc. You are also allowed to change your course in first year. The curriculum and courses are kind of overloaded though so its stressful. But all this, allows you to learn better skills and have an edge in interviews and placements.

The course curriculum matter, Addidas, compliments and well structures of a strong foundation in theoretical and practical application with the emphasis on course subjects with advanced topics influence my decision to choose the course as a promises as preparation for industry, challenges and growth. The curriculum effect prepare students for real world applications by incorporating relevant cases, studies and projects. It could benefit from more hand on experience and practical lab. This would bridge the gap between theory and practice improvments could be made by updating teaching methods include more interactive and learning which would help in applying critical knowledge more effectively. Additionally, more frequent workshops and interactions could enrich the learning. Experience exams are helmet semester and at the end of the term they're quite challenging while they are designed to assess in understanding, students find them difficult, which can sometimes lead to a higher failure.

Some of the course of matgematucs are very vague and not interesting . Proves and theorems having a specific way to solve decreases interest among students. Exams shouls be done once in three months.

Yes, irrespective of the branch, choosing IIT Delhi will always prove to be beneficial for you. IIT Delhi has ties with many big firms that visit the campus for placements and offer great packages irrespective of your branch. One needs to be proficient in DSA and other computer science core subjects such as OOPS, OS, DBMS, and Computer Networks. A good grasp of these will fetch you a high-paying job no matter which branch you belong to in IIT Delhi.
Although most companies that visit IIT Delhi also visit NIT, your IIT tag will always fetch you extra benefits and no one can deny that. For instance, the same role offered to an IITiand will have more salary than that offered to a non-IITian.You can easily switch roles and fields given the brand name of the institute you are associated with. My friend completed her M.Tech in Telecommunication Technology and Management from IIT Delhi and also did some extra courses in Computer Technology from Electrical Department.
These courses usually cover Software related topics with very less focus on mathematical analytics and circuit design. Students from Instrumentation backgrounds expect Analytics and Design but the reality is IIT Delhi has very limited choices in this field. Most of the optional courses offered are related to CS and are much more promising than Analytics. If you are okay with programming, coding, and software development then go for it at once.
Rest assured, you will never get to doubt the packages offered during the placements of Computer Technology. It has the highest packages among all the Electrical Department branches.
You get what you seek, hence the more you are willing to get, the more opportunities you will have to explore other branches of IIT Delhi.
