Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise tuition fees for category students like sc and st is like 28-29 thousands. And for general student it's like 2 lakh 30 thousands.And mess fees is same for all and it is 34 thousands.Exam fees and all things are included in the tuition fees.

The year wise fees that i will be paying is 60000,and the fees of my friends from other category is 120000. Till now i dont getting any scholarship amount.the admission fees is 17500 for jossa and 9200 for iitd

Grading policy- Some prof in specific branches do very very hard grading and sometimes random grading which results in average cgpa
The academic pressure, There could be a lot of academic pressure because you are competing with the cream of the nation

The hostel fee is 7500 and the mess fee is around 40000 it keeps on varying, this amount is paid by everyone, other than that general students have to pay 100000 as a tution fee and it is very much less for sc/st students (5-6k), there are various scholarships if you perform well in academics .talking about campus placement, almost everyone gets placed with a decent package

The courses and their rigidness is the thing which i dislike most

As their are many sochlarship policy for economically backward student . Some scholarship are provided on the basis of your cgpa means on the basis of your academic performance. the tution fees are higher in iit as I think.

Experience at IIT

The fees are set by the governing body and I think it is a bit high although the students with poor financial conditions get fee waivers it is high for students with a family income of just more than 9 lpa. There are scholarships given to students based on their financial conditions. Students can easily get loans from the banks available inside the campus.

2 or 3 exams are conducted on same day (during minors)

The cost of study for B.Tech courses is 1 lac(only tuition fee) per semester in general. Institute does not charge any tuition fee or charges 1/3rd of tuition fees accordingly for students with reservations or for those who need financial assistance based on annual family income. However, there are additional charges to be paid by all students.

IIT Delhi Living Experience

Attendance. 75% is compulsory and some courses have very strict facility.

Fee hikes every year. A lot of scholarships are available for students with family incomes below 9 lakh. The Institute dean regularly sends emails regarding scholarships. Campus placements take place every year.
