MSc Mathematics is a 2-year postgraduate course in Mathematics dealing with providing in-depth knowledge of advanced and applied mathematics like geometry, algebra, calculus, number theory, dynamical systems, and differential equations and preparing them for various research activities.

To be eligible for the course, the student must complete his/her graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% score. However, students having a B.Sc./B.Tech./B.E. degrees are preferred. However, some colleges organize their admission tests which the students have to clear if they wish to become a part of that particular college. MSc Mathematics Admission Process

The admission process for the MSc The mathematics course begins in March/April. The application forms are released in both online and offline mode and the students will be notified about it from the official website of the University. For most colleges, the admission process is direct and the students are admitted based on the marks acquired by them on graduation. However, in some colleges, the students will have to appear for an additional entrance test. Here we have mentioned the various steps of admission.

Direct Admission

Aspirants will fill the application form, from where they will have to give their necessary details category proof, qualification details, and many other things, and then they have to submit the form.
Then shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of the cutoff list released by the colleges. Those students who will clear the cutoff will be called for further admission process.

Entrance Examination

Colleges offering admissions on the basis of entrance exam scores have a different process. Firstly, they have to fill-up the form to register for the exams available on the official website of the university.
Then they have to appear for the entrance test. The details and mode of the entrance test may vary from university to university.
The students may be called for an additional round of personal interviews prior to their admission to the institute. Then on the basis of the final score of entrance exam and PI, admissions will be offered to the student.

Lateral Entry

A few of the colleges admit students through lateral entry. Through lateral entry, admissions will be directly given to the second year of the course. Two such colleges are IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur. The Eligibility criterion for admission through lateral entry is the same including graduation degree with mathematics as a mandatory subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees was 11000 for each year. Hostel expenses was approx 9000 and mess charges were between 2500-3000 per month. You get relaxation in fees if you are in BPL category. Many scholarships are available in the university. I also got a scholarship named Radhakrishnan scholarship.you can avail scholarship if you are eligible. there are no extra charges in department for lab , library , you completely avail them free of cost

Government institute of scienceis an Institute committed to imparting scientific education to its student and inculcating in theme the quest for unveiling the truth science is not only about finding facts.it is about arranging the facts meaningfully and engaging in logical Entrepretation of the facts in search of truth.

The government college faculty to student ratio generally is low atleast mininum 50 seats. Because there government college so admission process is cap round process and percentage wise admission alotment. My best faculty is mathematics because there teacher are so sensible and very knowledgeable.

The placements of our college is not very low and not very high there is average placement up to 4 lakh the students of our college are placed in the local Institute and in the Physics wala platform who hiring the students for teaching on his platform. Many students also move for the more education or a for higher education they take admission in the phd and after that they got a good job and placement in the government colleges as a professor as a lecturer also the aluminium of our college are quite helpful and at good position.

Amazing Baramati College

The total first and second year fees are 14000. If student come from any category then this student have benifit for fees . Annual fee of category student is 9000 . First you have to pay fee 5000 then you can pay amount in 2 or 3 steps. Here online or offline both methods pay payment are available. Hostel fee is 40000. In college fee library, Gymkhana this fees are included. There are 3 or 4 categories of scholarship like shahu Maharaj school it's depend on income certificates . Scholarships are provided in around 8000 to 12000.

Faculty is too good they have good relation with students and they are very helpful also appreciate their students. Teaching staff is always hardwork for student great future. I liked science faculty because every project of science ???? thay were given 100 percent of their knowledge. In T.C college there is semister wise exam conducted. Exams are conducted in easy to difficult way and its great for students. No any faculty that I didn't like.

My life at my college

We celebrate our annual day in the month of April, and all relegious festivals, intra college fest in August and intercollege fest in February. Our college library has vast source. People from other college come just to visit our college library because of the different and vast sources of books, question papers, journels etc. Each class room are connected with projecter for live learning. We have good sports mentor and good equipments and ground . Apart from studies they encourage in sports. We have our student portal from college to acces old question papers e- resource book etc

Currently there are six teachers taking class, including lab. There is a good relationship between faculties and students. The faculties are also easily approachable. From these 6 people , I like Algebra, topology, measure and integration faculties because they are sweet, friendly, they make the subject easy and interesting. I don't like probablity and statistics and partial differential equaton teachers, because they are always irritating and confuse us the syllabus. There are 6 exams this semester and results aren't announced yet

My review on our college

The annual function is held every year as the course ends. The prize distribution program held on this day. The books available in library are from almoat every subject that are in the college. There is a computer lab also.There are student run social groups who work for the benefit of students.

I had interest in mathematics that's why I chose this course. The curriculum prepares students for real world applications as it is very relevant and and not only the syllabus but also other activities are cinducted in college premises. The exams are held every six months. Two times in a year.

The faculty to student ration in my department is very less in my deparment only 7 students but faculties are available.In my department to some faculties are very good and teach us very good but some teacher are not very good because they not come classes they send their scholar. The exams are conducted by semester wise in one year have two semester and on semester have two internal test. The marking schemes is very good.

The overall campus life is not bad the university is surrounder by forests ans hill sides, most beautiful thing is the campus has soo many peacocks and squirrel. The campus of the university has a big libraby along with so many books and Wi-Fi connection. The class room of the university is morder and well eqiped infrastructure.

My college name in Mata gujri mahila Mahavidyalaya ( MGMM ) college jabalpur. Right now I am doing MSc in Mathematics. This is a 2 year course. The fees for 1 year is approximately 25000 which includes 2 exams fees. There are 4 semesters in 2 years.

Overall experience is very good but college campus is quite smaller in comparison to other colleges.Recently our college is organized pink fest for girls and other activities are also provide such that international conference, sports etc.

the cirriculum s current and manageable, which positively influenced my decision to enroll. college provides opportunities for internships. we got less time to finish the syllabus whic effected my exam preparation. scheduling suplementary exams after a year poses challemges for the students to clear backlog papers. difficulty level of exam is manageable.

The annual function happened in nov - December month which created a viberant energy in student who perform . Workshops were organized sochases a innovations and creativities. The thousands of books and journals was in library, catering to both academics and general interests.The wifi connectivity was in college for seamless access for online resources. The sports like football, hockey, basketball, Badminton were encouraged by college. The WhatsApp group was created for students useful notes, college vacation, and others .

The fees yearly was the around 2880 for one year. The fees was divided in different categories as for tuition- 500 , for development -100, for liberary - 10 , and much more categories was included in fees division. The fees was approximately same for other courses like bsc in bio , msc in chemistry, ba, ma, b.ed etc. But yes, there was uttar pradesh scholarship helped much to students.
