What Students Say

Likes

The fees is 3000 rupees for a year which is very affordable.
There is a hostel and the mess is in the hostel.
There is a canteen in the college campus.

Dislikes

The attendance ratio is very low. Students don't attend classes.
The environent is not like studios. Students don't really focus on studies.
Washrooms are not properly cleaned so it is quite unhygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had interest in mathematics that's why I chose this course. The curriculum prepares students for real world applications as it is very relevant and and not only the syllabus but also other activities are cinducted in college premises. The exams are held every six months. Two times in a year.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 3000 rupees for the first year. All the expenses are included in this fee structure. Admission fee, tuition fee and everything. The sc category students get scholarship of rupees 14000 every year in their graduation.

Campus Life

The annual function is held every year as the course ends. The prize distribution program held on this day. The books available in library are from almoat every subject that are in the college. There is a computer lab also.There are student run social groups who work for the benefit of students.

Admission

I did not apply for any other colleges. I only applied for this college as it is convenient for me to travel to this college. The eligibility is to get good percentage in your graduation. Cut off is almost 70-75% every year and it is increasing year by year.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:50. The teachers are very kind and friendly with students. All of them are approachable. I specifically liked our physics teacher in ug. There are six subjects exam. Some students fail on exams. Course curriculum is very relevant.

Night Life

There are cafes near our college. There is hostel facility also. The college is not co-ed it is only girls college. The timings of hostel are from morning 8 am to 6 pm. After 6pm students are not allowed to go outside the college.

Going through my university.

Placement Experience:

As per the placement most replacement work done from the BTech department. And there are many companies who give their advertisement for the recruitment and they take a test in which last semester student or the student who has just fast are eligible. So placement are offered mostly in engineering department but some companies also post advertisement for many other department like BCA ,BBA ,Bsc and Msc. Highest package round 8 to 9 lakh. The average packages round 4 lakh. The percentage of student getting placement is not high but it is around 60%. I want to pursue my career in data science.

Experience at IGU Rewari in MCA Course

I applied in Delhi University, MDU Rohtak, Kurukshetra University and IGU rewari. I got confirmed admission in MDU, KUK and IGU. I prefer IGU because its location was more suitable for me and it was meeting all my requirements. I rejected MDU and KUK due to thier location and placements. In my university, admission is on entrance basis but sometimes if there are less number of application forms, then it is on merit basis.
