- Candidates who have been provisionally selected for PhD Admission in Molecular Biology & Bioinformatics, Zoology, English, Forestry and Biodiversity, Botany, Music, and Fine Arts must complete their admission formalities within Nov 6, 2024 (Midnight) by paying the requisite fees through online mode and submitting the payment receipts to their respective HODs.
- List of candidates eligible for RET 2024 & Viva Voce for PhD Admission in Geography & Disaster Management, Commerce, and Computer Science has been released. RET for PhD in Geography & Disaster Management and Commerce will be held on Nov 5, followed by viva voce for qualified candidates on Nov 6, while RET and Viva Voce for eligible candidates of PhD in Computer Science is scheduled on Nov 7, 2024.

Tripura University is a UGC approved Central University located in Agartala, Tripura. Established in 1987, Tripura University was formerly a part of Calcutta University. With more than 40 affiliated colleges, the main campus is spread across a respectable 75 acres of land.
Tripura University admits students into 58 Bachelor's, Master’s and PhD programs. The affiliated colleges offer UG, PG specialization in various streams across Humanities, Science and Technology, Education and more. Tripura University offers 30+ PhD programs through its main campus and affiliated colleges. Admissions at Tripura University are based on the scores obtained in CUET conducted by NTA. Tripura University Admissions
Tripura University takes online applications only. It admits students in numerous undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate and PHD courses. The admissions are based on marks obtained in NTA’s CUET. Moreover, if there are vacant seats left in a course, Tripura University considers the non-CUET applications for admissions. Only the top 3 rank-holders in the previous degree will be considered in the CUET-exempted category.
Once the student applies online, they must wait for the university to release a provisional merit list. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for an on-campus document verification. Post document verification, the shortlisted candidate must submit the course fee online to secure the seat in their desired course.

Tripura University Campus and Facilities
Tripura University offers numerous facilities for students enrolled. The University campus is pretty cross 75 acres of land with facilities like Central Library, Hostels, Medical Center, Science Labs and more. Below mentioned are some of the facilities offered by Tripura University:
- Biotech Hub: In September 2015, Honorable Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, inaugurated the DBT-sponsored State Biotech Hub. This Hub has expanded training programs in various fields of biotechnology. Hub provides seminars, workshops, and other events for students, researchers, and teachers. Trainees with current scientific knowledge are taught modern biological research procedures.
- University Central Library: The Central Library has three storeys with a total area of 5415 square meters. Its current normal operations take about 2715 square meters. The Library has a total sitting capacity of 250 people.On the first floor, there is a well-equipped Online and Audio Video Browsing Center where patrons can use the internet and library-subscribed online resources. They can also use the library's CD/DVDs.
- Tripura University has its own Health Centre, which is staffed by two full-time doctors (male and female), two nurses, a medical laboratory attendant, and a female attendant to serve students, teachers, employees, officers, guests, and their families. A separate facility has been set aside for this purpose, with some beds equipped with saline and oxygen. Furthermore, the University has an ambulance equipped with basic medical equipment to transport patients to surrounding hospitals in the event of an emergency.
- Hostel Accommodation: Outstation students, distant areas of the region, and economically disadvantaged classes are given with fully computerized internet-enabled hostel facilities. There are currently two hostels for women and men, with 60 and 110 seat capacity, respectively. I have applied in government Degree college and i got confirmed admission in the first merit list but i choose university over degree college. The admission process is online and it is. on merit base.

I apply to many other University also but I live in Tripura that's why I didn't go out from Tripura and Tripura University is not that good but not also not that bed if we compare with other University the NRIF ranking is decent. The admission process of Tripura University is similar with other universities Anyone can get admission through CUET

Our college is one of the most well known in the state .. students from every part of the state comes here .. there is a good reputation of the college among the population of Tripura..the admission process is maximum online and some seats are left for offline admission

- In the campus there are approx 120 plus CCTV camera for safety purpose.
Admission:
The Holy Cross College, Agartala it's the only one college in the princely state,Tripura with A+. And the campus is well maintained, and the institute is very strict and friendly too. In short I want to be a part of this institute.

- They got Western toilets with Indian mugs, Which is confusing

I got selected in ICFAI and HCC, and I choose HCC and I don't regret it, It's so good with all good atmosphere and good teachers and good students, Admission process of our college is, you need to secure atleast 60% marks in 12th Boards and then there will be a list, if your name is in the list, you are selected

I applied in Tripura University Agartala Tripura and I had apply CUET exam and got results also I thought to apply also but I already applied on holy cross college . No I firstly applied on holy cross college because in here college is to cost addmission and after that once again I went is very Taft . The admission process of our college is we use to do fillup form in online and after that we called by their office staff for councillor for each subject and after that we need to meet with principal or vice principal and after we select then admission process is done

I have been given the CUET exam but I have got very less mark in general test, so i didn't get at tripura University, Unfortunately I have to study in this college only as I could not make it in tripura University. I have filled up the holy cross college form through online.

- Maximum sales companies are coming to college but we need core companies but the amount for core companies are less.
- Infrastructure is going on they have to do it more better then now.

Basically i preferred to go through by the government colleges but as the entrance exam has a good compition level so i dont get the seat. That why the last option is my present college. They take online entrance exam then according to the score they give the branch to the students.

I have applied for holy cross college agartala. I have already started my classes there. But when i get here in Tripura University of prefer this more then that because of Course in Holy cross college i took can graduate only BA but here i can complete both BA+MA so i prefer this.

- Though the scholars are friendly,there are many arrogant scholars
- The lift sometimes stop working midway, not to say it stops everytime, but very unexpectedly stops :)
Admission:
For the first thing, I'm getting an opportunity to complete my bachelor and masters at the same time at the same amount of time needed without rushing in the midway. Secondly, the infrastructure, the comfort for the students, where chilled-filtered-water are made accessible to students in each and every building/corridors. Thirdly, it is an University com'n, you can't just compare it to other colleges

Tripura University results 2023 have been declared for the MA and MSc courses on the official website on April 03, 2024. The Tripura University result is declared in online mode. The passing percentage required is 40%, along with the internal examinations. The announced online marks/grades and result information must not be considered a final or valid Statement of Marks.
The first-year fee is INR 60,300, and the second-year fee is INR 55,300 at Tripura University, West Tripura.
