- The curriculum is not that relevant just like all the other colleges
- The hostel facilities for some hostels are really bad
- Fees of BITS pilani is too high , just not affordable for some individuals
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of its relevantness in today's world .CSE is a good branch thats why i opted for it.The exam's frequency is not fixed , sometimes they happen between 1-2 months and sometimes 2 in a month.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 102000 for the first semester and 89000 for the second semester for a total it sums upto 191000. The caution fees in that is 5000 which is included in the mess fees which is 35000 total. For second semester the mess fees is 28500 . registration and development fees is extra in it around 60 thousand.There is no fee waiver for any other castes.There are scholarships based on merit and you have to get over 9.5 CGPA for scholarship.
Campus Life
There are many fests like Oasis( cultural), BOSM(sports), Apogee(techno - management) etc.The library is packed with books of any course you want. classrooms are also equiped with monitors etc.The sports facilities are also good , there are many sports available like cricket , football, basketball etc.Clubs of the college are also good and are of many fields.In short campus life can be good if you neglect the facilities part.
Admission
I did not get any other colleges and beacuse i did not have any choice , I had to come here, this college is good so no harm in choosing this.Admission process is quite simple , you have to go to campus for course registration and hostel allotment.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is like there are 1 faculty for every 20 students and relationship between teacher and students is also good.faculties like ashish gupta and ramprasad joshi are good teachers of cse department.Bad faculties are really not there in this college.There are 4-5 exams per year which are not that difficult. The curriculum is not that relevant.
Night Life
There are 2 gyms in the campus which are free of cost for the students, Hostel timings are there but not followed , campus timings are that you should get inside campus before 10pm. There are places like inner canteen, mehek canteen etc.
