For General Students (Day scholars) fees is 74000 Rs for 2 year MSc Program and for (Hostelers) fees is 330000. For SC/ST Students (Day Scholars) fees is 60000 Rs for 2 year MSc Program and for (Hostelers) it's is around 190000. Fees increases slightly every year. I had spent a total of 3.5 lacs for this course that includes academic fees and hostel fees with mess charges. Students with good SGPA im first semester (above 8 generally) and with low annual income are given MCM scholarship which refunds your tuition fee and along with that you get Rs. 1000/- per month also. SC/ST students get free messing also if they satisfy above conditions too. Mostly Ed-Tech companies come for placement. Overall Placements are not that good here for MSc chemistry.
Knowledgeable Proffesors always act as continous support system with amicable interactions with the students. The teaching quality is good but plenty syllabus sometimes leads to depression. Not fully but partially the curriculum is relevant and helps the students to develop attitude as similar as they are going to have in their near future. I have chosen this course as I contains the things in which I am really interested in. The best thing about this course is introduction to advanced core chemistry. Many foreign universities Visits IIT Delhi for selecting the research scholars. Students do often get jobs by cracking competitive exams like GATE, BARC, UPSC- GEO SCIENTIST, DRDO, etc. In this course, Institute only provides Merit-cum-means (MCM) scholarship to those students which are good in academics as well as have weak financials.
No I didn't opted for education loan but institute will provide you the scholarship based on your academic performance. If you are good in academic your tuition fees will be waiver and 2k per month for your monthly expenses.
