Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing an M.Sc in chemistry, as I had an interest in chemistry (especially physical chemistry) since my school days. Faculty: student is almost 1:2 Teachers are highly qualified as they have done pHd and further post-Doc also. There are term exams 3 times each semester

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 43000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is an ample number of companies offering internships and placements. Top companies include: Google/Microsoft/amazon/adobe/Flipkart/LG/Sprinklr/QuantBox and many foreign companies also. The maximum amount of internship offers are around 2-4 LPA for Indian companies

Placement Experience

Our college is one of the top colleges in India in terms of placements. Eligibility for campus placements depends on the course you enrolled in. The highest package are in crores times And average is about 10-12 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a government college, the Fees are pretty Low as compared to private colleges. But if compared to other Govt colleges, the fees are higher Financial assistance will be there but the for that, family income should be less than 4.5 LPA

Campus Life

The fest name rendevouz, the biggest fest in north India is held in the month of Feb-march. We have a huge number of books in our central library and a high no. of research papers are provided on the library website.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are pretty good compared to other colleges. The menu is changed every month, and for every week we have different dishes for 7 days and 3 times per day The rent of the hostel is 13500 per semester and the mess fee is 30000 per semester which makes it 43500 per sem. You can get a PG near college like jia sarai, katwaria sarai

Hostel Fee: INR 87000 per year

Admission

The entrance exam IIT-JAM needs to clear before the exam. FORM is available on the website of IIT conducting that particular year Fees for application are 1000 for males and 500 for females Dates for application is September I don't think to improve the process really as as I don't face any difficulties at my time

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered but I am still in my first year so I have no idea. Students usually go for higher studies (PhD) after master's. Clearing entrances becomes a task. They d offer campus placements it's not that intense as it should be.

The students become eligible for placements in the last semester. Primal Group, Allen Career Institute, Akash Institute, etc a lot of companies came for placement. This is a time of recession. So, very few students get placements. My plan is to join the coaching industry as a teacher after my degree.

I chose chemistry because when I was 12, I was fond of chemistry. I found it more interesting than physics. All I want to say is - C for colourful H for high in demand E for eagerness always M for mysterious I for interesting all-time in all moods S for symbolic T for table R for rhythmic Y for youthfulness Faculty: students - 3:5 Almost all of the professors have completed their postdoc from foreign and have a lot of experience in the teaching field. This time it is a bit hectic bcz of 2 minors and 1 major but I am happy with this.

Good to excellent

Placement Experience:

From final year onwards students become eligible for placements. There are lot of companies like Accenture, flipkart, Amazon, HSBC, etc which offer 5-10 students. The highest package was 50lakhs -1Cr and average is 9- 15 LPA. Usually much students get placed from our college. But this year the percentage is very low could be due the firing of freshers and fear of corporate companies to hire freshers. I Will go for the placements which is still going ( second season ).

Internships and Oppurtunities

The eligibility for the course is JEE Advanced and cutoff for JEE Advanced is JEE Mains exam. Also, you must have 75% or above in class 12 board examinations. The cutoff for my branch was around 1900 rank. The application form can be found on jeeadv.ac.in and the form costed around 2900 rupees. The first process of process was to qualify for JEE mains. Honest life at IITD

To be eligible for the B Tech programme in IITD you've to qualify for JEE Adv. The cutoff varies from year to year. Seats are allotted on the basis of the ranks secured by the students in jee adv exam. Once the results are out you've to go through the josaa counselling for which you have to pay. And then based on your choices and rank seats are allotted. The admission process is easy and i don't see any problem associated with it...Read More

Eligibility of the Course 1. JEE Main Qualified 2. JEE Adv Qualified 3. Board 75% marks We can find the application forms, application fees, and application dates on NTA Website and JEE Advance website.
