Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Industrial course is a very good thing about the course and highlight taht attracts most but not all members of faculty are concerned about its success. Also paper choices are not appropriate as they should be and a lot of politics is there in teachers

Internships Opportunities

4

A lot of international banks consulting firms and big four companies with average package of 12 LPA offering mostly data science and data analyst role and rish anlysing services but needs a strong preparation to crack them and a silver luck too

Placement Experience

5

Placements occur in two phases first in 3rd semester for Phase 1 and then Phase 2 in 4th semester. Percentage of people placed is low but the package and companies they got is excellent. The packages offered from 7.5 LPA to as high as 26 LPA. A lot of big companies visit the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for first year was 24k and for second year it is 22345. The scholarship is mostly for Economically Weaker Section EWS students. The fees is highest among all other colleges offering same program. Also there are other scholarships options if you keep updated with university circulars and programs.

Campus Life

5

Annual fests and society fest are so exciting and attracts lot of promoters and sponsors which increases the fun and campus life is so good with the friends. Societies work at top notch level and a lot to develop within as it provides so many opportunities.

Admission

I got 193 marks in CUET PG and was eligible for all the colleges with this score. I choose this because of the big name and advance facilities and infrastructure that matters a lot like library and gym. The curoff for this is about 160 170 for UR and goes to 90 100 for SC ST. Admissions are done only by CUET PG exam

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is good. but the course curriculum is a bit typical and is not so easy to pass the exams. The HOD for operationional research is too rude and arrogant. A lot of self study is needed and so many soft skills should be developed form starting to get the placement

Night Life

4

New gym and renovated cafeteria of college which is complemented by nescafe cafeteria and mitti cafe and amul store provides places to hangout and also corridors are so cool to hangout and have chit chat. Kamla nagar market is also adjacent which has. so many spots to explore but not late in night

Campus placements are offered but I am still in my first year so I have no idea. Students usually go for higher studies (PhD) after master's. Clearing entrances becomes a task. They d offer campus placements it's not that intense as it should be.

I chose physics as my interest lies in studies of physics as for the faculty there are 2 campuses for NSUT so there are a lot of faculties each class has a fair gender ratio and faculties are highly qualified in NSUT they take a mid-semester exams and an end semester exam an internal assessment between these exams.

The students become eligible for placements in the last semester. Primal Group, Allen Career Institute, Akash Institute, etc a lot of companies came for placement. This is a time of recession. So, very few students get placements. My plan is to join the coaching industry as a teacher after my degree.

I chose chemistry because when I was 12, I was fond of chemistry. I found it more interesting than physics. All I want to say is - C for colourful H for high in demand E for eagerness always M for mysterious I for interesting all-time in all moods S for symbolic T for table R for rhythmic Y for youthfulness Faculty: students - 3:5 Almost all of the professors have completed their postdoc from foreign and have a lot of experience in the teaching field. This time it is a bit hectic bcz of 2 minors and 1 major but I am happy with this.

From final year onwards students become eligible for placements. There are lot of companies like Accenture, flipkart, Amazon, HSBC, etc which offer 5-10 students. The highest package was 50lakhs -1Cr and average is 9- 15 LPA. Usually much students get placed from our college. But this year the percentage is very low could be due the firing of freshers and fear of corporate companies to hire freshers. I Will go for the placements which is still going ( second season ).
