Admission to M.Sc. and M.Sc. - Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences is done based on a candidate’s performance in Common Entrance Test. For M.Sc.-Ph.D. combined program, the selection will be done based on merit and availability of seats in the research area

The college also offers various scholarships and fellowships for M.Sc. and special academic programs. Government and non-Government scholarships are available for the students based on merit. Following are the scholarship offered to the students:

The Jean and Ashit Ganguly Education Scholarship: This scholarship is of Rs 1500 per month and offered to the students based on merit and recommendation of the selection committee
Jawahar Bhawan Trust Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: This scholarship is of Rs. 1000 per month is offered to the M.Sc. students.
Prof. Gurbaksh Singh Education Fellowship: A sum of Rs.6000 per annum is offered to the M.Sc. students and the selection process is based on merit and interview.
Prof. H. C. G aur Education Fellowship: A sum of Rs. 4000 per annum is offered to one M.Sc. student each year based on merit, interview, and financial needs.

ACBR New Delhi Facilities

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research offers great infrastructure and has various facilities:

Hostel: There are limited accommodation facilities for the students at the post-graduate hostel of Delhi University
Library: The institute offers library facility to the student. The library contains specialized books and has more than 3 lakh books with scientific journals.
Laboratories: Modern laboratories are available for biomedical research with the latest scientific equipment such as Fluorimeter, Gel documentation system, Real-Time PCR, Confocal Microscope, Mammalian, and Bacterial Cell Culture Facility, PCR machines, Olympus compound microscope, etc.
Workshops: Three workshops are available including Mechanical workshop, Electronics workshop, Mechanical workshop and Glass Blowing workshop for fabrication and repair
Science Instrumentation Centre: There is a science instrumentation center inside the institute having liquid helium and nitrogen plants, an Electron microscope, Spectrometer, etc.
