What Students Say
Likes
- Honestly I liked how the academics does not lack knowledge. With each lecture, I ponder what the human brain is capable of.
Dislikes
- I kinda dislike how most of the students only studies for job placements and not upgrade their skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have been wanting to study Computer Science at a prestigious college from a long time and that's the reason why I chose this course. Honestly speaking, if you want to gain the knowledge, the curriculum provides everything for us we just need to achieve it. Thought I would like to suggest that teachers should also focus on students who are little weaker than others in studies. The frequency of exams are somewhat acceptable, the question paper is hard tho.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro and other comapnies offer students for placements. Depending on the student's achievements and skill levels, companies would hire them. Their academic points, how well they performed during task, what they achieved and many more.
Placement Experience
The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.
Fees and Financial Aid
We got 4 years course and each year we have to pay an average of 200000. Rest of the fees are also included in this average of 200000. My batchmates have to pay almost similar to what I have to pay. We got many scholarship options, so depends on what type of scholarship a student have got and what the amount is.
Campus Life
We have many parties, like fresher's party, farewell parties, on campus festival parties many influencers do their concerts here too. The campus is quite good. We got library where one can get books related to many things, journals are available too, classrooms are neat and quite technological. Students are also good in sports and we got many clubs. Not only this gives students opportunities but this also improves physical health.
Admission
I applied in many colleges like SIT, VIT, BITS Pilani, Different branches of IIT, NITS. I had no thoughts of joing this college specifically. I chose the best one comparing with other colleges. I got no rejection because of my entrance exams results. To get admission into IIT, one needs to successfully crack JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED. Cutoffs depends on the number of students and it changes per year.
Faculty
The professors are so professional and approaching them isn't much of a problem. Teachers are less than student and obviously that's how every education platform works. I honestly like Pinku Sir and Arvind Sir. They make studying easier and fun. I got no grudge towards any other teacher nor do I hate any of them but I felt these 2 were awesome. There are about 4 main exams. Some students fail to pass the subject.
Night Life
The nightlife is quite amusing. Students do what they like, many of us hangout at campus for some time. We enjoy our leisure time and within 9.30 students have to enter the hostel. We got a gym, cafeteria at our campus and it's nice.
