faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive and have strong academic background
placement cell actively organizes training sessions and mock interviews for students
campus infrastructure is good with well equipped lab and libraries and classrooms

Dislikes

campus area is relatively small compared to some other engineering college
curriculum is decided by the university and sometimes feels outdated
sometimes the lab and file work is overwhelming during exams

the course at msist is structured according to ggsipu and have strong foundation in core engineering subjects along with practical knowledge the syllabus covers improtant technical topics which help students apply it into projects internships the exam system typically includes internal assessment and mid sem exam followed by end semester university exams

the feee structure at msit for btech isnominal and divided into tution fees , university charges , examination fees and placemnet fees year wise fees approx 1st - 163000 2nd - 139000 3rd - 142000 4th - 150000 fees is mostly same for general , sc ,st , obc students can apply for scholarships like merit cum scholarship , delhi government scholarship , ews scholarship

Campus Life

college hosts its annual cultural and tech festivals where students participate in coding competetions and cultural performance library is well maintained with wide collection of textbooks and journals it also has sports and exrtracurricular activities

Admission

i applied to several college in delhi but i was not getting desired branch there thats why i chose this college because i got my desired branch information technology and compared to other college it has good infrastructure and technical societies and disciplined envirnoment i was getting admission in other colleges too but not desired branch

Faculty

the faculty at msit is generally well qualified and experienced most professors hold pg and doctoroal degree . the faaculty to students ratio is 1:15 which allows students to interact with teacher and clarify doubts

Night Life

the nightlife is relatively calm and college focuses mainly on academics students who stay in hostel generally follow fixed timings set by hostel admin which ensure discipline outside the campus students usually hang out at nearby cafe , foods outlet , market

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

College review for FOT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of lots of scope of this course. College is also very good in the University. Teachers are good. Exams are hard to pass. Teachers help students.

Summary of IIT-D

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.
