What Students Say

Likes

The location of MSIT is prime which is located in janakpuri which has good connectivity with metro (both magenta and blue line)
MSIT is mainly focused on acadamics and it has serious study environment
It has best Return of Investment compared to other private universities

Dislikes

The infrastructure is little disappointing due to old buildings
Their is no campus life because the small size of campus
The boys and girls ratio of this college is about 10:1

Course Curriculum Overview

The overall curriculum is rated 4 out of 5 for relevance and 4.5 out of 5 for comprehensiveness. The curriculum is excellent for students who wants to prepare for GATE,CAT AND MS ABROAD. Their is 1 internal exam (easy) in each sem which is important for internal marks and 1 final exam in end of semester

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

Te placement percentage is about 80% for CSE/IT students and 60% for ECE students and 40% for EEE students. After 6th sem students become eligible for on campus placments . Their are many companies who visits MSIT i.e TCS,wipro zs etc For technical jobs

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of Btech is approximately 1.6 lakh and the total fees for 4 year Btech is approximately 5 lakh to 5.5 lakh depending on the specialization and shifts. This fees is same for all categories (general,obc,sc,sc and others ). Their is no schlorship for any students

Campus Life

The overall campus life is descent . Their is 2 days annual fest and technical fest in each year in month of february . Their is also ethnic day and garba day celebrated in this college. Their are many socities in this college which helps in built your connections

Admission

I chose this college because of better Reurn of Investment and the placements compared to other colleges. It has better location compared to others which situated far from my house. The admission process is based on the rank of JEE for Btech and IPUCAT for other courses

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is about 15:1 in MSIT which is quit good.The majority faculties are helpfull except 3 4 faculties.In each semester their is 1 or 2 mid sems which are not difficult and final sem exam is of 60 marks

Night Life

The best hangout place is District Centre which is situated in Janakpuri. Their are many gyms and lots of cafeterias around MSIT. The hostel life is little disappointing due to its mess and strictness

The on campus placement are quite good here even for the code branch. The training and placement cells works really hard for students to land onto best ones. Also regular meets and sessions are taken for students of first second third year's to guide them further by the seniors to let them know about the upcoming events and hackathons so as they don't miss out on anything the seniors also guide the students about the essential skills they should learn and provide them roadmap for the same The highest package this year is quite good and the average package is also decent last year average for mechanical was 8-9LPA which is expected to increase this year for cse and circuital branches the avg package is around 25 LPA or even more

After the second semester onwards you can apply for internship and in the final u are eligible for placements ans PPOs. A lot of well repuated tier1 companies visited here for placements including Google Microsoft Amazon Dell and many more. The avg package is around 17LPA and the highest pacakage is 51 LPA while the highest overseas is around 1cr or so. 90-95% students would place in the on campus placements. Many students go fo for further studies too.

Good College

Placement Experience:

For placement 6th semester is the same there most of the Student start sitting in the placement. Companies that visited our campus are TCS Infosys Capgemini cognizant. This year the placement percentage was nearly 70-75%. This data was much higher earlier as due to recession placement has reduced. Birthday college time I am trying to pursue and take after my b.tech degree for getting the best employment.
