1. This curriculum has best-in class facilities in the field of teaching, extra-curriculur, and placements which influenced my decision to choose this course. 2. The college has an up to date curriculum meeting the industry standards. With great placement support and amazing faculty and alumni network, a student never faces any problem with real-world applications and further academic pursuits 3. The teaching quality of the college can be improved and the level of course needs to be increased. 4. Moderate frequency of exams and timing of exams is good. This creates good study envirnoment with not-so-high pressure on the students for performance. The difficulty of the exams ranges from low to medium.

Basically in a enginnering college you have to study all by yourself because faculty not give most attention their is a lot of free time available to learn and basically for CSE we have to study coding all by ourself

Talking from personal experience the course is totally totally relative being compared to the real world, or corporate as you might say. The teachers here make sure you are being tought almost everything and not just the bookish knowledge to ace exams.

DTU are changing their course structure which any college barely does which is a good thing. The relevance is still low like in any other college but yes there have been trials in improving the system for the betterment of the students.

NSIT/DTU is far better than NIT Hamirpur for CSE.
Be it academics, placement, research culture, peer group, exposure, etc. NSIT/DTU will offer better opportunities. These two institutes also have a locational advantage. Due to the favorable location, you can easily get good exposure in the CSE domain. NSIT and DTU both will offer you plenty of opportunities. However, many students prefer NSIT for their small student intake.
Among the above two institutes, for students interested specifically in computer science, JMI CSE should be a better option. But, students having no specific preference in streams should consider Mechanical at DTU.
The table below gives a brief level of comparison among the two departments of the institutes.
