The campus is very vibrant and a lot of green-ry is there
The sports complex is very big and has ample of space to do all kinds of sports

Dislikes

The students ratio is our batch (2021-25) is very uneven
Girl is to boys ratio was 150:2200 which is very uneven

I am a resident of Delhi NCR and i have been living here for my entire life. I wanted to stay near My home so that is why i wanted a college in Delhi only. In delhi there is no better college than DTU except for IIT Delhi

Environment : Students , Teaching Faculty, College Infrastructure are very Impressive and supportive.

Not provide any hostel facility to the students which are 25 Km apart from the college campus., low gender Diversity (boys to Girls Ratio)
Strict Attendance Policy: Min Attendance Should be above 75% for each Semester

I have applied to DTU and GGSIP (IP University ) after my JEE EXAM , though Both Colleges are good , bur if we Compare both on the factors like infrastucture, Placements , Teaching Facuilty, Envirment , Then DTU is make an Upper edge insted of IP University . Admission Processs in DTU: Firstly You have to Apply To JAC Delhi College Councelling (Online) , where you have to regeister yourself for the attotment of colleges on the basis of your rank , after the allotment of college you have to pay the registration fees which is 90000 at my time , when you get the amission you have to pay the remainng Fees for the first year ,with in 4 months , this will makes admission successsful .

College has a very big campus as compared to many colleges
Faculty is very versatile and is will known in their fields

Boys girls ratio is very low as compared to any other course
Security is poor as there i have seen many fights in fests

DTU is one of the top college in india . To take admission in it you have to get good rank in JEE MAINS my dream was to be in this college. So i worked hard to get good rank in jee mains. DTU in itself is a brand now

DTU A STORY TOLD BY A ENGINEER

Faculty was very professional and good they will teach you not just to pass your exams but they will teach to be a engineer in real life
There were many societies in college in which you can become a member so that was very good experience for extracurricular activities

Boys girls ratio was too low in my class there were only 6 girls in total 80 students
Academic staff is very rude if there is some problem in your portal or something you have to go there and ask but they will do the things when they will like

DTU is one of the top colleges in india it take admission based on your rank in JEE MAINS. I didn't gave JEE ADVANCE from which you can go to IIT's so i opted DTU because it was my dream to be in this college

Life at DTU - Complete Guide

Good opportunities for students who work hard
Sports and recreation facilities are also great

Batch size is very large and student specific focus is less by the teachers
Academically could be much better, you'll have to study mostly yourself

The exposure of being in Delhi NCR is a significant paramter to choose the college as this unlocks plenty of opportunities and attract a large number of companies. The college has a good reputation nationally as well as internationally and provides plenty of opportunities. I had not applied to a lot of colleges and this was my first choice. The admission process is through the JAC counselling on the basis of JEE Mains marks and the cutoff for my course was around 12K AIR for Delhi category and 6K for Outside Delhi

Good campus,lush green campus, a lot extra curricular activities
Good placement opportunities,fang companies come and take a lot of students

Remote area, students come from. Very long distance
High tution fees , tution fees is very high as compared to other government colleges

I live in Delhi and it's not that far from my home and my elder brother is also passed out from this college.He suggested me so I took admission. I also applied in the nsut for electrical vehicles technology I heard their curriculum is way advanced as compared to this collage but unfortunately I didn't get the admission there for some reason The admission is done though jac Delhi councelling process. After the jee result come out you need to apply for joosa council process . Once the process is done you get the admission

DTU, the okayish college for Design.

The college environment is good and fun if you can stay over or nearby.
Learning with fellow Design Peers with similar interest

The administration of the whole college is terrible.
No hostel for Delhi based student/Dayscholars

The process for getting in was through UCEED. And after I have already been admitted to DTU for the course, I got a seat in spot round from IITDM Jabalpur. But considering the opportunity I will get by staying in Delhi, I chose DTU. If you are fine learning and experimenting stuff on your own and really prefer a Real life learning experience, I would say DTU is better but if you prefer the course over that, since IIITDM Jabalpur course is monitored by IIT Bombay, the course there is better.

Review of DTU for Computer Engineering branch

Course Quality : The college offers the highest course quality specializing in Computer Engineering branch and Mechanical Engineering branch. Extra Curricular Environment : Best in-class extra curricular environment available to us. Can't be better.
Startup-incubation cell : The best-in class startup incubation facilities are available in the college and amazing startup support. Placement Support : The best in India placement support put this college on the map and gets the best placements.

Hostel Living Facilities : Major hostel facilities are not good and many students are not provided hostels
Quantity vs quality ratio of the students is low.

I applied to several other colleges through JOSAA and JAC admission counselling portal. I got a confirmed admission from several top NITs like VNIT, MNNIT, NIT Surathkal, NSUT etc. My reason for choosing DTU over these colleges were : 1. Branch : I was able to secure myself Computer Engineering in this college earlier than any other college 2. Location :Delhi being a good location compared to any NITs 3. Placement Support : Best placement support than any other college 4. Co-Curricular and Clubs and Culture : This college scores higher than other colleges in this field. I got rejected from three top NITs, i.e. NIT warangal, Trichy and Surathkal and Several IITs. I had low rank in JEE Mains and JEE advanced due to which I couldn't secure a good position adn desired in these colleges. The admission process is fairly smooth where we appear of JEE mains and apply on JAC counselling for colleges. Through that, based on our rank in the exam, we get the available branch through cut-off. International Students who didn't appear for JEE Mains can apply to JAC based on SAT scores and they will undergo a similar process. Overall admission experience is fairly smooth

There is lush green campus more coding and non tech opportunities
There is low girl to boys ratio because there is no girls quota in this college

I disliked in this college the attendance rule of 75%
there is so much high competition in this college

In dtu there is engifest hich is the largest fest in north india and the placement culture is also very good for electronics hence I didn't go for any other college . And also there is my seniors which suggest me this college .

Peer group and coding enviroment in this college is excellent.
Dtu known for the memorable fest like engifest, yuuvan etc.

Big campus so travelling from one department to the other is difficult is summer season.
Attendence criteria is 75% so it is mendatory to maintain that .

I choose this college because this college provides many internship and placement opportunities to every student in this college . The college life in this college is great because many fest are scheduled in every semester and it has the most beautiful campus as compared to any other engineering campus . The admission process is done by the Jee mains crl rank and it happens in round wise . I had the opportunity for opting admission in Nsut IT but i refuse and choose DTU because the enviroment in dtu is chill and other extra curricular activities are good.

If I get 85% in 12th and 70 percentile in JEE Main, can I get admission to BTech at DTU?

As per the previous cutoff data, you may not get admission to DTU in the general category with the 70 percentile. However, you can get admission to the Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology & Management, Ganga Group of Institutions, etc.

what should be the miniumum GATE scores for M.Tech Artificial Intelligence at DTU?

As per the data available for the previous Mtech GATE score cutoff the minimum mark required for Artificial Intelligence in the year 2023 was 318, and in 2022 was 318 for General Category. DTU, GATE Cutoff 2023 for the OBC Category is 318 and in the year 2022 is 319 for Mtech in Artificial intelligence. DTU, GATE Cutoff 2023 for the EWS Category is 333 and in the year 2022 is 332 for Mtech in Artifical intelligence. the minimum mark required for Artificial Intelligence in the year 2023 was 228, and in 2022 was 263 for SC. DTU, GATE Cutoff 2023 for ST Category is 258, and in 2022 was 254 for Mtech in Artificial intelligence.

The admission process is online at DTU. The admissions are based on the JEE Mains score and followed by JAC Counselling. You can register from the official website of JAC Counselling Delhi. JAC Delhi counselling will be conducted in five rounds and one spot round on the official website.
