Second thing after our 2nd year there are multiple food spots made in our college like kitkat, rajsoin hall, amul, dosa plaza, dominos, safal, etc

Dislikes

Very large campus when sometimes we gets late for classes it takes around 10-20 minutes to go from college main gate to classes or labs.
Too much student intake which makes campus crowded and placements became tough.

The best college you can get into after IITs

Peer group, College Infrastructure, Teaching Faculties, Events such as Engifests, and other parts of different societies.
Professors were really cooperative and have published my first research paper with the cooperation and extensive knowledge of teaching staffs,
I would rate the campus life 5/5, Well rounded university in terms of peers, cooperative seniors, a lot of college fests and best top faculites.

Dislikes

As such I dont have any things to be disliked about the college but i wish the canteen infra could be built better than now, that would be beneficial.

cause of best curriculum and ROI, and it was in delhi thats why i choosed this college. i applied to other colleges such as NSIT and some NITs, but i found it better to be in delhi with my parents .

There is too much academic burden and also for attendance as even if the teacher is not that great in teaching and you are not able to understand you still have to attend the classes.
Labs and classrooms are too old infrastructure and lab equipements are not updated with time.
Curriculum is also too much outdated not consisting of industry level knowledge and hands in experience, Rot learning is focused. Professors are not cooperative also.

I got this college according to my rank in JEE Mains exam. Admission process was nice as first i had got the NSUT DWARka with the same branch but after the second round of counselling i got admission in this College as I had put DTU above the NSUT in the preference list. Only JEE Mains is accepted for B.Tech courses in DTU. So talking about the admission process we have to first clear the JEE Mains examination and after that we have to do counselling through JAC Delhi in which we have to choose a preference and make a list of colleges with preferred branch and submit it in the JAC Portal and after several rounds of college allotment process whch takes 1 to 2 months we get the college according to out JEE Mains rank and preferene list than we have to go to the college aloted to use Physically for the document verification , one the verification is done our admission is confirmed in the college and we get admission letter and are able to attend the college from the starting of session.

Delhi Technological University has a top class building in USME.
Our university has the same best lawn as it hosts most of our gatherings.
We have a ramp in our college and that gives a proper professional fashion show feeling.

Dislikes

Just badminton and basketball are the only sports facilities available here.

A Real Look into Campus Life and Academics at DTU USME

DTU offers a reputed degree at an affordable and transparent fee structure compared to private universities, with no sudden mid-course hikes and good scholarship support.
The BA Economics (Hons) curriculum is well-structured and helps build strong analytical and economic understanding useful for higher studies and exams.
DTU’s large campus, active societies, and diverse peer group provide great exposure, networking opportunities, and overall personality development.

Dislikes

Administrative processes can be slow at times, and resolving issues related to fees, documents, or portals often requires multiple follow-ups.
The BA Economics (Hons) course could benefit from more practical exposure, industry interaction, and internships aligned specifically with economics.
Large campus size sometimes makes coordination difficult, and facilities in certain areas could be better maintained or modernized.

Besides DTU's emphasis on a positive social environment through organised activities within the College, it was also attractive to me because of its national and international reputation. While I applied for the same course at DU and IPU, DU had a very high level of competition for BA Economics (Hons) because of its extremely high CUET cut-off. As a result of this intense competition and CUET cut-offs at DU, I was unable to get into any of the DU Economics Programs I wanted. I was interested in two of the IPU Colleges that had degrees in Economics and decided DTU was a better option because of the academic environment and long-term value it offered. When I compared the colleges affiliated with IPU to those affiliated with DTU, I found that DTU had a large centralised campus with better facilities, more active student societies, and a greater level of recognition. The fact that USME is able to take an interdisciplinary approach to combine Economics with a management perspective had a notable impact on my decision to attend DTU. In my experience at DTU, the entire admissions process was extremely straightforward and based on merit. To qualify for BA Economics (Hons), applicants need to have Mathematics as a Compulsory Subject and Language AND 2 Main Subjects in 12th Class to Qualify. In addition to being one of the preferred examinations for this course, the admissions for BA Economics (Hons) at DTU were done through CUET-UG. Each year, the CUET cut-off will be different depending on your test score, your category, and the amount of competition for seats in your chosen College. Overall, my admission to DTU went smoothly and was organised excellently.

Personally I like the most is personal touch here as students can contribute here the way they want.
Now since I have become a senior, I have been made the HR head of one of our societies and I thankful that students here are chosen on merit.
DTU don't just provides academics but a lifestyle which every college going studen dreams about.

Too far from West Delhi as I am from West Delhi and have to travel long roads daily to reach the university.

Admission:

If you are from Delhi and you want to study economics Hons, I don't think there's a better university than DTU for BAE. Only the fees is issue for some otherwise cut-offs too are quite lower than most DU colleges. For me neither the cut-offs nor the fees was an issue and so I opted DTU as it is without a debate the best.

Freshers party was a welcome party for us and from dance to orientation everything happened there.
Faculties too joined us in our party and danced along with us.
Also a lot of people in our university are associated with one or more societies as they all work actively.

As per the data available for the previous Mtech GATE score cutoff the minimum mark required for Artificial Intelligence in the year 2023 was 318, and in 2022 was 318 for General Category. DTU, GATE Cutoff 2023 for the OBC Category is 318 and in the year 2022 is 319 for Mtech in Artificial intelligence. The admission process is online at DTU. The admissions are based on the JEE Mains score and followed by JAC Counselling. You can register from the official website of JAC Counselling Delhi. JAC Delhi counselling will be conducted in five rounds and one spot round on the official website.
