The curriculum is great in this college, Students have subjects according to their branch like cse students have more subjects that are coding-based, and electrical students have mostly their core subjects. The faculty here are very helpful, they are always ready to help and give a great guidance. There are midterm exams and end-term exams and quiz & class tests held in between the session. Overall great curriculum and faculty.
The course curriculum is well defined and professional subject experts teach here. You get in hand experience by working on various projects of tech and non tech fields which enhances your job seeking opportunities.
Fee is expensive from my point of view as a government college fee should not be too high several student were not able to pay fees and they had to take education loan but our college have fee-waiver scheme for economically poor student they also provide scholarship to toppers and minorities.

There are many reasons why some students prefer CSE at NSIT to CSE at DTU. I have listed some strong reasons below:
If you consider these reasons valid, go for NSIT instead of DTU.
The choice depends on what matters the most to you.
If placements, faculty and research opportunities are your top most priority, choose IIIT Delhi CSE. In this respect, IIITD CSE beats DTU Mechanical by a large margin. But if you want the best of campus, college environment, cultural fests and brand name, DTU Mechanical is a much better choice.
I would personally recommend IIIT Delhi, as it offers top notch placements. But if you’re truly passionate about Mechanical, choose that branch. Do not take your interest for granted while choosing your branch/degree.
DTU has limited branches but a huge student pool thereby decreasing the average salary of CSE. Here are the placement statistics for the branch

The CSE branch at DTU is highly regarded for its curriculum and placements. Here is what you should consider
Ultimately, DTU should be your choice only if your goal is to get placed after enjoying good college life. But if you are a research enthusiast and want to pursue MS or Ph.D. in the future, then consider joining IIITD or NSUT instead.
IIITD, DTU and NSIT (NSUT) reserve 85% seats for the students who passed their 12th or equivalent from Delhi. All the NITs also offer reservation to students from their own states. Here are the 2023 JEE Mains closing ranks for CSE/COE at various colleges (for SC category)-

These are the closing ranks assuming you are not from the Home State. There are separate ranks for female-reserved seats as well. Apart from COE, NSUT also offers a B.Tech CSE in AI, Data Science and Big Data Analytics.
Thus, you will have to study hard and score well to secure a seat at these top colleges for your B.Tech CSE.
Here is a rough estimate of the score needed to secure a eat n DTU CSE.

The above cutoff varies from year to year so you shouldn't solely rely on them. NTA conducts the JEE Mains so it's hard to predict rank by marks, percentile, etc.
The number of recruiters varies every year and affects the placement percentage of all the branches of DTU. Approximately the placement percentage of DTU CSE varies from 88 % - 93%. Even colleges better than DTU find it difficult to maintain a 100% record. Students who have poor grades or backlogs usually get rejected while many top graders opt for higher studies generally in foreign universities.

The CSE branch of DTU specifically is great and offers a plethora of opportunities and exposure. Anyone with excellent coding skills and a great CV certainly gets placed here with a high package.
All three colleges namely, IIIT Delhi, NSIT, and DTU are excellent options for CSE. However, you might want to consider the following points before making the final decision
So choose wisely based on your priorities!
DTU JEE Main cutoff for the Delhi region (CSE) is as follows
Round 1 |
7859 |
Round 2 |
10347 |
Round 3 |
10347 |
Round 4 |
10860 |
The above cutoffs are for General Category and CSE branch only. As for the marks required, it depends on a number of aspects like the difficulty level of your shift, no. of students appearing, and other exam factors. Approximately, you are expected to score between 236 - 275 to get CSE at DTU.
I can never stop emphasizing this, no matter how many options you have always go for the one that gives you the IIT tag.
I am not saying Engineering colleges like NSIT and DTU aren’t good but they are in the developing phase while IIT Jodhpur is in its developing phase. This means it will only get better. Despite being a new IIT, its average package this year was recorded at INR 21.30 LPA, which is a great feat for a new college.
Additionally, IITs receive more funding from the government to provide better research and project opportunities. Specifically speaking about CSE, this year the highest INR 56 LPA was bagged by BTech CSE. The placement percentage stood at 97% while the average package for CSE was recorded at INR 23 LPA.
DTU and NSIT may have higher placement statistics but they lack what IIT Jodhpur offers, the most coveted IIT tag! So choose wisely.
