Delhi Technological University Placement Report is available. The highest salary package stood at INR 85 LPA in the B.Tech Software Engineering branch, while the average salary package was INR 18.46 LPA. A total of 2,442 students registered for placements, and 1,486 students were successfully placed. Major recruiters included Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Uniqlo, Apple, Amazon, Atlassian, Bain & Company, and others.

placements are rather nice ,specially of tech branch is quite nice , from what semester we are eligible , most students are from 5th semester eligible for internship and from 7th for actual placements , lot of companies do visit : sometimes bain ,mckinsey ,samsung,xiamo. otherwise local companies tcs , tata etc . lot of startup are coming nowdays which are offering lot of things. highest package was 80 lpa around by samsusng as far i remember for ai, ml enginner . percentage of student getting placed for my branch is around 70%. my plans would be to get internship in 5th semester and then make it a ppo

DTU CSE IS BEST

Placement Experience:

So students are even doing internships from 1st year too. So there is nothing like that you will get internship in 3rd year. If you have skills then you will get it. Major companies likes Google Microsoft Amazon etc are visiting this college for placements and internships. Around 86% students got placed this year. My plan is to get a tech job after getting degree.

Placement Experience:

For becoming eligible for campus placements, you need to pass atleast 6 semesters. After the sixth semester, the companies start coming to the college and recruit students. The internship opportunities though start from the 5th semester itself Top companies like google, microsoft, amazon etc visit the college and recruit students with a really top notch salaries. These big companies generally give 30lpa -50lpa salareis to the students , but you have to be very skilled . The students need to work hard to get these jobs the highest package offered this year was 85 lpa and lowest package was 4 lpa the percentage of studnets getting placed is quite amazing in thsi college. 75-80 % students get a placement with some really good paying jobs if any student does not apply for campus placement, or does not on campus placement, then the offcmapus base is also strong. there are alumni spread in different parts of the country and even world. Also the brand value of this college is so great that there would be no difficulty in getting placement

Its research-oriented institute is primarily established to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of CS. While BITS Pilani also has a decent research culture, DTU, and NSUT are nowhere near IIIT Delhi in terms of research. IIIT Delhi students have a lot of projects to work on under highly learned and passionate faculties. The exposure these students receive is unmatched and they are offered excellent opportunities in terms of both in industry and for higher education.

So if you want both excellent placements and research opportunities go for IIIT Delhi but if you want a good campus life too that is less focused on research go for BITS Pilani.

DTU Civil Engineering has a relatively easier syllabus in comparison to other branches. You can maintain a high CGPA and even make it into IIMs. You will also have better opportunities than students in non-core companies.
The light syllabus gives you enough time to prepare for IES/GATE examination and secure excellent government jobs.
Civil Engineering at DTU has decent placements and this year the average package offered was INR 8.845 LPA. If you have a decent CGPA and communication skills, you can easily secure a package in the range of 5-7 lakhs.
Among other future aspects of this program, you can also pursue MS from Stanford as there is very less competition compared to computer science.
Although your package will be inferior to CS students, a government job in civil engineering offers you a comfortable and contented life,

The placements of environmental engineering at DTU are great. According to the placement highlights of 2019, the environmental engineering department received a total of 38 placement offers and 27 students from the department got placed. The highest CTC received by the students of this department was around 16 LPA in this academic season. In the past students of environmental engineering received placement packages up to 25 lakhs per annum. The company offering the package was Brother Industries and the post was software developer. Students are offered lucrative packages at reputed firms such as ZS, MuSigma, Deloitte, UHG, Practo, RNF, Printvenue, etc. These companies offer average placement packages of around 5-6 lakhs per annum for non-tech posts. DTU CSE Placements 2023 recorded 100% placements. As per the reports the DTU Highest Package and DTU Average Package offered to BTech (COE, IT, MCE) and BTech (IT) candidates during placements 2023 were INR 82.05 LPA and INR 25.22 LPA, respectively

Yes, though govt opportunities in the technical field are very limited, but yes you can get jobs at PSU based on GATE scores. The PSUs like SAIL – Steel Authority of India Ltd., ONGC – Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., NTPC – National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., CIL – Coal India Ltd., IOCL – Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., BHEL – Bharat Heavy Electronics Ltd., GAIL – Natural gas transmission company, BPCL – Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
