Why is CSE at NSIT considered better than CSE at DTU?

There are many reasons why some students prefer CSE at NSIT to CSE at DTU. I have listed some strong reasons below: NSIT has a smaller batch size which in turn means the level of competition faced by the students is comparatively low. You can get good job profiles way more easily than at an institute with a higher intake like DTU. NSIT awards you a degree from DU, one of the most globally recognized and reputed universities. This helps you pursue higher studies in foreign countries easily. Quite a few NSIT students are able to secure high packages in top companies like Facebook while DTU because of its large batch size has only a few that get 1 cr+ packages. One of the major reasons why someone would prefer NSIT over DTU is that it’s quite difficult to get a hostel in DTU especially if you are a resident of Delhi. If you consider these reasons valid, go for NSIT instead of DTU.

Should I opt for DTU mechanical or IIIT Delhi CSE?

The choice depends on what matters the most to you. If placements, faculty and research opportunities are your top most priority, choose IIIT Delhi CSE. In this respect, IIITD CSE beats DTU Mechanical by a large margin. But if you want the best of campus, college environment, cultural fests and brand name, DTU Mechanical is a much better choice. I would personally recommend IIIT Delhi, as it offers top notch placements. But if you’re truly passionate about Mechanical, choose that branch. Do not take your interest for granted while choosing your branch/degree.

Curriculum: IIIT Delhi is a clear winner in terms of curriculum as it has no extra subjects in the first year. DTU and NSIT may have higher placement statistics but they lack what IIT Jodhpur offers, the most coveted IIT tag! So choose wisely.

so talking about the fees in first year i paid 2,29 lakh and in second year i paid 2,46 lakh and in third year i paid 266 lakh in same way in 4th year i will have to pay 2,86 lakh this includes all the other fess like lab fee health fee and development and all other fees , as i am a pwd candidate so i got money from scholarship and other students also have to pay equal fee the thing is only just they got the money refunded by other scholarships in which they had applied and there are so many scholarships that dtu have provided like i cant write name of every scholarship you canc heck it on website , there are many scholarship like via nsp u can apply and there is one more known as dtu scholarship and annually they also released a performa in which some or we can say major scholarships are for the ward of military children

You have to consider this college

The total fees gradually increases every year. For us , in 1st year it was 2,36,700 INR , in 2nd year it will be 2,46,700 INR , in 3rd year it will be 2,66,700 and in 4th year it will be 2,86,700 INR . There are separeate fees for hostel and mess. Now coming to the fee waivers , there is no such fee waiver for reserved categories , but one can easily appply for scholarships which gets approved easily.

A overview of DTU

The course and curriculum is relevant and helpful according to the branch, professor are very well experienced but some change can be done

Actually the fee for each year in four years of btech is different, for first year it is 236700(paid) in which 155000 is tution fees and rest is examination fees, ews fund , service fees, student welfare fee and dtu medical fees. Dtu scholarship is there for financially low background students in which there is 100% and 50% fee concession on tution fees, also there are other private scholarship like dell scholarship that provide some amount for tution fees 66000 per year , the dell scholarship is limited for only dtu students accommodation 88000 and mentorship for students including career readiness etc The total fees for complete four year course is 1036800 rs The fees is increasing per year and fees structure is changing for each year batch

DTU - a dream for engineers

The yearwise fees we pay is approximately 2,50,000 per year . We have different fees for category students as it is a government college . For obc students there is no fee waiver but for SC students , fees is reduced to 50% .

Insights of Delhi Technological University

Very large batch size, in CSE there are around 7 batch with around 75 students each, so the competition gets tough here. There are several branches other than CSE aswell like IT, Software engg with the same demands.

The fee structure is the same for all, around 2.5 lacs per annum. No concession is given to reserved categories like SC and ST. You may get a scholarship based on your excellent performance in exams and if your parent's income is below a certain amount. Various scholarship programmes have been provided here some of them were sponsored by DELL company. 95,000/- rupees will be taken from the student during JAC counseling before getting admitted to the college, you may have the choice to get a refund of it if you choose not to take admission to the college itself. On taking admission this amount will be adjusted in your college fees and other remaining fees will be adjusted afterward which is around 1,50,000/-. This is the process for first-year admitted students through JAC counseling. The process may vary depending on your course and the way you take admission in this college. Also, the fees keep increasing per year respectively which is around a 10% increment per year.

Total course fees is around 10 lakhs which increases gradually per year. There are several scholarship programs provided by different organisations like Dell and some government agencies. The tution fee has a rebate of 75% for sc/st.

DTU-an awakening

This year i will be paying nearly 240,000 inr including for both the semesters and all the costs involved. There are no hidden charges associted with tge admission and only the initial fees needed to pay to secure the provisional allotment of seats that too is assumed as part of the fee structure and is not actually an extra fee. There is no diffrence in fees wrt to category per se but usually scholarships are provided for people for delibitating economic hardships and if qualified then fees are effectively lowered by 50-100% depending upon the criteria they qualify. MCM is one of the popular scholoarships schemes available and usually translates to students having decent 12th grades/gpa geeting a financial incentive if they satisfy the economic criteria.

2,36000 its first year fees and gonna increase by 20,000 every year the national govt do provide scholarship on various factors also the state govt provides some fee concession on various factors like caste,income,merit list.
