The course curriculum is quite old and not updated. CSE students are taught ECE, Engg. Drawing, Maths, and Physics which are not very relevant to the course in Computer Science, still things get on track after the first year where the majority of the subjects are course-oriented

Students get internships from 2nd and 3rd year itself, the opportunities here are endless. You need to constantly work upon yourself to get grab these offers. You can get a very good placement after 4th year aswell which is around average 25lpa in Computer Science.

Placements of my college are quite good with around 25 lakhs per annum average salary being offered at the time of placements, it is even better than many IITs in our country. Almost every big company do come for the placements here including Apple, Microsoft etc. 80% of the students get placed in my branch CSE. Highest package being offered is more than 50 lakhs per annum.

The fee structure is the same for all, around 2.5 lacs per annum. No concession is given to reserved categories like SC and ST. You may get a scholarship based on your excellent performance in exams and if your parent's income is below a certain amount. Various scholarship programmes have been provided here some of them were sponsored by DELL company. 95,000/- rupees will be taken from the student during JAC counseling before getting admitted to the college, you may have the choice to get a refund of it if you choose not to take admission to the college itself. On taking admission this amount will be adjusted in your college fees and other remaining fees will be adjusted afterward which is around 1,50,000/-. This is the process for first-year admitted students through JAC counseling. The process may vary depending on your course and the way you take admission in this college. Also, the fees keep increasing per year respectively which is around a 10% increment per year.

Many cultural fests happen in DTU, Engifest is one of them which is one of the biggest fests in North India, and many other cultural fests happen here as well throughout the year. The library is quite large and air-conditioned every facility is top tier here it will not feel like a government college but like a private college only.

I applied for all big government colleges of India including all IIITs and NITs, I got confirmed admission to IIIT Guwahti CSE and Punjab Engineering College CSE as well, but I chose Delhi Technological University because it has its own league established in 1941 oldest in the country securing a top 10 spot at India Today engineering ranking as well. None college could have been better than this. I got admitted into this college through JEE examinations and you would have to get 99%ile to get into it if you belong to the general category

Faculty is very educated here including many PHD teachers teaching to 1st year students as well. There are many assistant professors available as well who are even pursuing PhD in the same subject as so the teachers are of very good quality here. They cooperate with students very well and are very helpfull.
