the curriculums strong foundation in core mechanical subjects, hands -on labs , and indrustry collaboration influenced my choice . it prepasres student well for real world appkications and hogher studies through research opportunities. improvments needed include more projects based learning and updated industry trends. exams are frequent and modrateely difficult, ensuring consistent learnind but sometimes adding pressure.

companies like TATA MOTORS, maruti suzuki , L&T, BOSCH and ISRO offer internships for roles like desing engineering , R&D intern , and manufacturing intern, with stipendes of Rs 15K-50K/ month. projects include automobile desing , thermal analysis , and robotics, leading to prototypes , research papers , and real world industrial solutions.

students are elligible for placements from 7th semester . companies like tata , maruti, l&t and Bosch visit,offering Rs 40+ (highest) and Rs 10-12 LPA (average). over 85% get placed in roles like R&D engineer and desing engineer . i plan to pursue higher studies or an R&D job.

the fee strucure for btech program for the acadmic year 2024to 2028 fee breakdown (per year): 1. tution fee: ay 2024-25:Rs 155000 ay 2025-26:Rs 163000 ay 2026-27:Rs 177000 ay 2027-28:Rs 192000 2. non goverment component: student walefare fee: increase from Rs 20000(2024-25) to Rs 27000(2027-28). facilities& servies charge: starts at Rs 36000and rise to Rs40000 economically weaker section fund :fixed at Rs 10000 per year. examination fee:increases from Rs 15000 toRs 17000. DTU medical facilities & insurance: constant AT Rs 700 per year total fee per year: AY 2024-25:Rs 236700 AY 2025-26:Rs 246700 AY 2026-27: Rs 266700 AY 2027-28:Rs 286700 total fee for the complete course (4 years): Rs 1036800 yes , the fee is increaseing each year.the tution fee and various non govermental components are rising graduallly . the total fee increases freom Rs 236700 in 2024-25 to Rs 286700 in 2027-28 is there no magegment addition fee for any cast all the batchmates have to pay same amount , as i mentioned above a scholarship provided by itself DTU for finacial weaker student : amount like percentage on tution fee 50% :Rs75000 100% :Rs150000

engifest (feb) and technika (march) are DTU main fest and invictus is techfest . the library offers vast books and journals . classrooms have wifi ,projectors, ac . sports like football,cricketand basketball are avalible . student clubs like ASME, SEA ,USA and cultureal groups enhancse learning and campus life through events and collaborations.

hostel rooms have beds , study tables, cupboards , fans and wifi. meaks are average , with a ratational menu of indian cuisine . hostel regestration is through merit - based online application , and fees are affordable.if students want renting they refer rohini,mukherjee nagar .

i applied to DTU, NSUT and IITs, securing admission in DTU and NSUT but chose DTU for its placments and indrustry exposure. i missed IITs due to a lower JEE ADVANCED SCORE . DTU admission is vis JEE MAINS , with cutoffs varying yearlyu based on rank and category.

the faculty to students ration is 70:1 faculty to student relationship is very friendly and very easy to apporach the facultirs . debasmita mam : she is my maths faculty , she is best dhrendra ec faculty , he is little bit rude towards student . i have to do 1 mid sem and 1 end sem for every semester , and every year is there 2 sem exams are moderate to difficult from my batch i dint have record of fail student . the course is relavent towards our branch.

the GYM, cafeterias, public areas closed by 8-10 PM . hostel entry is before 11 PM; the campus is open 24/7. popular hangouts include hudson lane ,nsp, and cannauught place . the campus is safe .
