Course Curriculum Overview

4

BTech curriculum is relevant and well structured, covering core subjects . It prepares students well for placement and higher studies .However , it lacks in sufficient hands on training with modern tools . Teaching methods can improve my live coding and project based learning

Internships Opportunities

4

Many companies provide on campus internships , they hire students with good academic skills . They majorly hire students for software developers, data analyst / data scientists , backend Frontend develops , web developer

Placement Experience

4

My college placement is sooo good because Dtu is the top engineering college so that so many companies hire student from our college and give best package .From 7 semester student eligible for placement .More than 200 companies visits in our campus like Amazon, Microsoft , Google ,Intuit,Morgan Stanley ,Apple , Facebook ,Adobe ,Arcesium and many more . More than 90% students placed every year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is increased every year My first year fees was 2,19,000 and second year fees was 2,29,000 and third year fees was 2,35,000 Everyone has the same fees Scholarships are available from Delhi Government and From college itself

Campus Life

4

My experience in the college is soo amazing . I loved my college life , experience lots of things . Biggest fest is Engifest where very renowned artist singer come and perform . Fest is so mesmerising

Admission

I applied in Jac counselling and Josa counselling,I prefer Dtu over any other college because it is the best engineering college which is in Delhi and I live in Delhi so it is near from my home and according to my cutoff it is the best college that I could took so that's why I chose DTU over any other college and the placement, infrastructure and fest are the main reason I chose DTU .

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is 1:15 which allows decent academic support. Most faculty members are so approachable and helpful . Some profs like D.K Lobiyal and Richa Sharma stand out due to their strong knowledge and a few faculty member focus heavily on theoretical teaching and lack industry oriented insights Each semester includes two internal assessments and one end semester exam The course curriculum is relevant for core computer science subjects like DSA , OOPS , CN ,DBMS etc Dtu provides a dynamic campus life with large fest like ENGIFEST and YUVAAN , good metro connectivity and scholarships is provide at the basis of financial need and or merit

Night Life

3

My favourite spot in college is HIMS which is in college and nearby mall Unity one and G3S located in Rohini and the gym of my college is descent and cafeteria is also not up to marks and the food is average

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

Hmm , the course structure designed by them is very accurate and they first teach that course and then make compulsory to attend lab of same course in coming semester, this ensures that whatever we have learnt , we can apply that in real life as well.

The minor streams that they offer are Management, Computational Biology and Electronics. Students can enroll in any one based upon their preferences.
