Course Curriculum Overview

4

if i had to rate the course curriclum . i will say it is average in terms of releveance and comprehencives . one of the reasons i v=chise this courese was beacouse it seemed to offer a balnced mix of theriy and practical sunbjects . when it coes to preaparing us for actual jobs or even higher studies the cirrculam does not a verry good job . a lot of the things we larn are josu t for the sake of exams and dont not have musch connections to how things work in industry . in real - world situitions , you misty have to mange things on your own and figure rhem our praticllly so , i will say the cousre to ficusmore on application based learnign rather just theroy caonepts

Internships Opportunities

5

all companies like googel and microsfot arrive here and recenlty apple also started giving packeges g=here in dtu , student start getting exposure form 3 year most prbalbly , most likely maintain a cg of 8

Placement Experience

4

placemnts i my colledge are good and decent , hinestly one of the main rasons i decided to jin here . i talke dtoo many seiors beofere taking admision and they told me the placemnts cell is active and brings in a good numbers of companies . also cheking the offival stats and preicos year reports , i felt confident that i will have decent opportuinites after completoig the course . most of the major companies do coem fpr cs it and other core braches . the avg [package is okay around 14 -15 lpa even if somoone dosent get placed during placements by conneections hw or she can try off campus

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for my college is ?2,35,000 for two semesters. Over the full duration of the course, the total fees depend on the number of years, but it’s important to note that the fees have been increasing by about ?10,000 every year. As for scholarships, the college offers a variety of them. Some are provided by the college itself, while others are from private or government sources. The scholarships differ based on categories like academic performance, financial background, and reserved categories, so students from different backgrounds can explore options that suit them.

Campus Life

5

campus life at my collegde is quiet awsome and fun , socaially it very easy to make froineds here - people are friendly and theres a lot od interactions across differnt braches . the vibe is pretty vhill and you dont really feel out of place . speaccially during winters at oat . there are lot of clubs and socities fordiffernet intersents - liekke coding , dance , photography , etc , so whtever yo have into probably find a gp for it and infra as i say ois just awsome

Hostel Facilities

3

1 year hostels ar enot good at all as my personal ezpeice i will but hostle life is top notch . but if you want ohistel life choose hostel if you want facilites chooos pg or flat rent will be almost same for both . rent is around 54000 for hostel and 34800, for mess , and around same for the pg , mess food is avegrage and a menu is followed every week WHIch is same

Admission

i chosse this collegde beaceuse my collegde has bettere infra then other slike food courts and ac classes and public transport abd huge sports complex placemsnts are top notch and better packeges butless no. of regections cousres cirrculumm could be better i will just say this thing needs an upgrade . else many ting s are far better then many collegdes admmission process is also smooth if you are a genral catogary student . online regristraion and counselling , just do it from home and need to come to cooledge only one time for course registrationn

Faculty

4

the faculty to student realtion i my collegde is acutaaly good overall most are friendly and yiu approach them is you have doughts or need help with assignements . some teahers are chill with repesct , but of course there are few whi are the oppposite personaally , ireally like anshul sir, our mathemathics faculty . he has very cool natue , never foruces anyone to attend class , and is jot strict at alll regarding aattendance . he expalins concepts well and also providde video lectures for the classes ont he other hand i didnt like mrs anuma garg also maths facluty , she is toatally oppostie of anshl sir . always forcing us to atted classes gets too stirit about attendance , ehihc bencomes stresssufl somethimes . as for the exam system - we have 2 mid sem and 2 end em every smester . appert form that , some techers ranfodmly take class tests , but its totally based on their mood . if they feel like a test they will announce it , otherwise nothing happens , there not much consintent also the marking schemem is not always very clear . like you dont konwhoe they are geading . msot of the studnet pass the exam . and if you fail you will have to pa 7500 per subject for clearing the back which is really too much as pwe a gov colldge

Interview Experience

5

As a 1 st year i can more clearlfy you about the addmission just get good rank in jee mains and register for jac delhi counselling and you are alls let for the college and can easily go for admission And

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. The average package is around 20 LPA and the highest package is 85 LPA. The placements percentage for top branches is around 80% and many big companies like Amazon, Uber, Google, Microsoft, etc. offer placements. After my degree I plan on securing a placement on the tech field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as **fairly comprehensive and reasonably relevant**, especially in terms of building a strong foundation in core engineering concepts. One of the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was the **structured curriculum covering important fundamentals such as programming, data structures, mathematics, and core engineering subjects**, which are essential for both technical roles and higher studies. The curriculum provides a solid theoretical base and helps develop analytical thinking, but for real-world applications students often need to complement it with **projects, internships, coding practice, and self-learning**, since some topics are still taught in a more traditional or theoretical way. In terms of improvements, the curriculum could benefit from **more industry-oriented electives, practical assignments, updated lab work, and interactive teaching methods such as case studies or project-based learning**. The exam system typically includes **two major exams per semester — a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam — along with internal assessments, quizzes, and assignments**. The exams are generally **moderate in difficulty**, and students who attend classes and prepare consistently are able to perform well, though the evaluation tends to focus more on conceptual understanding and written exams rather than purely practical skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked physics and applications of physics so chose mechanical engineering, as ut has a lot of application of physics directly can really see how things work not just ideally but actually Curriculum is really good besides getting assignments which noone takes seriously everyone just copies , there must be much more practical stuff so that everyone learns but we do get that in tech teams but not directly as a student in college. There must be practical teachings and proper guidance proper high level machineary must be there, industry visits must be there and internships in such companies must be encouraged There are 5 exams of 1.5 hour considered as mid sems and 6 exams of 3 hours considered as endsems

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really good, i was always intered in the Engineering perspective of cars, and I must say it tries to deliver but doesnt sicces that well, atleast till now. For example I was really interested to study IC Engines this semester, it was a 4 credit main course, but I got RGautam as a teacher and in lab there are just artificial small models which are cross-section of various engines scaled down. So I felt really bad As I said earlier, the exams are relatively easy.
