Good Life at DTU

Curriculum is kind of outdated not required in today's workforce but it's fun learning the core engineering courses None Teachers are using the same curriculum for so long they have prepared ppts and all and reusing it there is not new element of excitement for teachers and students, I would suggest changing curriculum aligning more to help students get ready for industry

There are a lot of companies which comes for intenships and full time roles including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Seimens, Tech Mahindra, Collegedunia, startups and a lot more I got placed at Futures First via on campus placement drive

College placements are quite good students can apply for on campus internship by 5th semester and company starts reaching out students from 7th semester providing full time opportunities with 6 Months internship too

I paid lumsum amount of 2 lakhs fees including tution fee and other additional fees. College provide various scholarships from goverment and alumni network based on category of student and some are merit based too. There are concessions for different category students according to their category not sure about the amount but concession is quite generous and very affordable.

Campus life is very happening students can find societies and clubs for almost each and everything if there is no society or club of your choice you can also start club of your own interest There are almost 8 or 9 total fests which take place at different time of the year including technical and cultural both type of fest and a lot of hackathons too Library provides very wide range of books and journal and you can add books in wishlist librarian get you that

I am a Delhi resident and also DTU's curriculum and faculty is quite chill and I had an entrepreneurial mindset from very beginning I chose DTU because it help and back there students by giving them a lot of free time and support from incubation, alumni network DTU take admission through JAC counselling after clearing JEE mains

Faculty to student ratio is 1:20, faculty is very approachable. I liked almost everyone from the faculty department but I would vouch for Girish Kumar from Mechanical department for helping out through out the process for building my own venture. There is no one There are two set of exam mid sem and end sem and few faculty members take some quizzes too difficulty lies between easy to moderate and related to curriculum only

There are 3 gyms 2 for boys and 1 for boys a lot of cafeterias and fun places to chill with friends and classmates including night mess and cafes there is no specific time boundation for in and out timings for boys hostels but girls have to punch in before 11 pm students cannot get outside the campus after 10PM
