As a Civil Engineering student at GCET, I feel the curriculum is quite relevant and gives a clear understanding of how core concepts apply in the real world. One of the main reasons I chose this branch here was the mix of subjects like Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, and Hydraulics, along with the practical exposure we get in the labs. These subjects made me feel confident that I was choosing a field that is directly connected to real-life engineering work

Highest Package: Around ?40–44 LPA Average Package: Around ?5–6 LPA Top Recruiters: Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, HCL, Accenture, Wipro, LTIMindtree, etc. Placement Strength: Active placement cell with 700+ companies visiting. Civil Branch Placement: Mostly moderate, with average packages 4–6 LPA; depends on skills, internships, and software knowledge.

I paid the fees yearly. and the tution fee is 1.10 lac and admission fee is 15k and there is no any other hidden charges and my batchmates fees was same. there is scholarship available for uttar pradesh students .

There are many annual and technical festivals. You can access many books there in college library of you own subjects and other branch subjects and you can issue books for your convenience from college library.

Facilities provided in the rooms are bed, table, chair, almira and water filter and meal quality is very good and menu change everytime. registration process is very simple. I lived in the college hostel.

At the same time, I feel there is room for improvement. If the curriculum included more exposure to modern software tools like AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Revit, and Primavera, it would make us more industry-ready. More site visits, practical workshops, and real project case studies would also help us understand how things work outside the classroom. Some teaching methods could be made more interactive, with more problem-solving sessions rather than only theory-based lectures.

I don't know about faculty to students ratio but the relationship of faculty and students are very good and they are very helpful. Some of them are the best faculties. There are 4 exams per semester 3 are internal and 1 are external wich conducted by the university.

Ya, I given the interview for the admission. Questions are many types that are like about how was my school life and some questions are from my subjects. you can take admission by JEE mains marks. I prepare for these rounds from my seniors which are already admitted in the college.

The nightlife is very good you'll enjoy at hostel you can play badminton in hostel badminton court and there are vending machines in the hostel and gym is also available. The hostel timings for boys at 9 pm after 9 pm you can't go out from hostel.
