Course Curriculum Overview
The infrastructure and the labs that influenced me a lot because practical knowledge is way more important that theoretical knowledge and Galgotias University provides the theoretical knowledge. There are high tech labs like Nvidia lab, Semiconductor lab, Drone lab.
Internships Opportunities
Recently VISA visited the campus and they offered 90,000/month internship and also PPOs. Many Companies visits the campus and provide opportunities but the number of applicants is too high making it difficult for the normal students to get internships or placements opportunities.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good at Galgotias University, If you are consistent throughout your academic life then definitely you will get placed. Companies visits university for the placement and students get placed. Recently VISA, Wipro, One Bank, Josh visited the campus and offered the packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees of B.tech is 164000 and the one time registration fee is 1200. There is many scholarships like if you are consistent in your academic performance like scoring 9+ CGPA and maintaining 75% attendance you will get scholarships from the university and also if you belong to UP then your will get scholarships.
Campus Life
My Overall experience at Galgotias University is good. I literally enjoyed here a lot. There are many clubs in the University and regular events happen in the University such as Unifest, hackathon, Ideathon and many Competitions. University has Marketing club, sponsorship club, tech club in which students take part and learn many things.
Admission
I choose Galgotias University for B.tech because of the infrastructure, fees and the placements. The fees is affordable as compared to Amity or Sharda University and Galgotias offers the all facilities that other university provide in lower fee.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio for the theory class is 1:60 and for the lab its 2:60. Most of the faculty are good and highly qualified they understand the difficult things in very easy way. Some of the faculty don't know how to teach they just read the ppts and that's all. There are two exams that held in the University The Mid-term examination and the End term examination and also there are two Internal Assessment exam.
Night Life
University has GYM facilities but it is only available for the hostel students that live in Campus Hostel. Cafeteria is top-notch all types of foods items are available but not in affordable cost. Cafeteria is little bit expensive. You can play all types of games in the campus in the night too.
