- Lower fees comapred to other private colleges, as mentioned earlier tuition fees for B.tech is 1,09,603/- INR. This way we can save a decent amount over a period of 4 years comapred to students of other colleges where fees is Rs 1.35 Lac - Rs.1.5 lac
- Attendance criteria is also bit relaxed compared to other colleges where the criteria is 75% strictly but in our college towards class-end 60-65% attendance can save a student from getting detained in the semester exam.
- The campus life is chill and relaxed , there is less load of doing assignments in 2nd year compared to 1st year where the teachers are strict while professors of 2nd year are a bit chill except few.
Dislikes
- Sometimes there is miscommunication in the exam cell which leads to delay in the exam schedule of internal exams, frequent changes in exam schedule. Some chaos can also happen in external practicals sometimes.
- College Campus Wi-fi is not functioning properly. I don't remember the last time I used college wi-fi. This trouble is thankfully now removed from the central library. I also feel that the washrooms are less in number comapred to strength of students
- College campus Stationary services are overpriced especially during exam time, admission time and scholarship filling time. A single page printout (on one side) can cost Rs. 10(coloured) Rs 5(Black and white) .
What are various companies visiting campus and range of packages being offered?
The average placement of a CSE branch is 4-5 LPA. Some of lower core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical have poor placement record. The major recruiting companies are - TCS, Infosys, Autodesk, Capegemini, Wipro, etc. Students can visit website of college for the exact data. Some talented and skilled students have secured good placement offers like - 39LPA, 30LPA ,25 LPA etc but those students are few in number (10-15) out of the total batch. Almost all the students of CSE core branch have been placed as per previous record and students of allied branches will sit in placements for first time this year as allied branches were introduced lately in 2020 batch of freshers if I am not wrong. In 3rd year of B.tech students can apply for internships and in 4th year the companies come for placement. However I have noticed slight decrease in no. Of companies visiting the campus maybe due to recession.
Internship opportunities and programming languages to be learnt
I may not be the right person to tell this as I am in my second year only and currently I am not eligible to sit for internships so whatever I write here shall be based on what I got to know from the seniors (3rd year students) . The students of third year can apply for internships made available by the placement cell. There is a Mini-project in 2nd Year and in 3rd year there is a major project as I heard from my professor of Python Programming which is compulsory for all the students. However some skilled and motivated students also apply for off-campus internship opportunities and grab them with both hands. But internships and placements have been affected by the recession going on in the market of IT industry.
College events, various clubs and facilities available in campus
There are various technical, cultural and non technical clubs and societies of each department. They conduct various activities, seminars, competitions, webinars etc for holistic development of the students. There are multiple technical clubs like - GDSC-GCET, GFG-GCET, Extreme CSE, etc. which are involved in conducting coding, web development , AI , ML competitions and seminars on latest technologies like cybersecurity, Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, etc. There are also cultural clubs for interested students like- StudioD, Kalakriti etc. There is large playground for football, Cricket, separate courts for Basketball, Badminton etc. And various sports events take place annually. Classrooms are decent. E-block classrooms are air conditioned, while A,B,C,D,G block classrooms don't have that facility. Overall they are good. Campus is also nice spread in 20 acres.
What is the fees associated with the course and scholarship available
Tuition Fees per year for B.Tech is 1,09,603/- which is the lowest among all private colleges affiliated to A.K.T.U. Also Students need to pay 7200-7900/- per year to A.K.T.U. as Exam Conducting fees. However students are provided scholarship by U.P. Government if their family income falls in the eligible category. Sadly I don't fall in that category.
Course structure and examination patterns
Course Curriculum includes 8 semesters in total 4 years i.e., 2 semesters in each academic year. Each semester has 5-6 theory courses and 4 practical/Lab Courses. Each theory course has 5 units. It is easy to score I we study with a proper strategy, which was my motivation to choose the curriculum and score well. The course curriculum is oriented to explain the theoretical aspects of a subject and make the students comfortable with the basics of a discipline. It also equips the learners with some practical demonstrations of the subjects being taught. I think focusing more on problem solving will help students apply the theory in real-world. Exams are conducted in two categories:- 1.) Internal Exams - Two Mid Semester or Sessionals(C.A.E.s) 1st C.A.E. covers 2 units while 2nd one covers all 5 units of theory course. Also Internal practicals are conducted. 2.) External Exams- External Practicals and End Semester Exams.
Facilities provided in the hostel and its fees
The campus hostel is not so good in terms of food compared to other private hostels. A canteen is near the hostel in the campus and stationary service is also available. The campus hostel also lacks AC Facility for boys hostel while AC rooms are available for girls hostel. Room of the campus hostel has -Almirah , bed, study table, chair separate for each student and there is a fan and cooler in each room for summers.The bathrooms are shared with two big bathrooms on each floor. The mess offers 4 times of meal in a day including- breakfast, lunch,snacks and dinner. There are two water dispensors on each floor. Students when come for offline reporting to college have a choice to register simultaneously for Campus hostel also as Campus hostels are filled immediately. The fees for 4 seater boys room is INR 90,000. For 3 seater is - INR 1,00,000. For 2 seater is - INR 1,10,000. The fees for girls hostel is somewhere between INR 1,30,000- 1,50,000.
Admission process and eligibility criteria
I got admission in November,2022 on basis O my JEE Main 2022 rank through UPTAC Counselling 2022 conducted by A.K.T.U., although direct admission for 15% of seats was available for 12th Board toppers or students ready to pay Donation. Now also admission for 85% seats is done on basis of A.K.T.U. counselling and 15% are filled by direct admission and Management Quota. Counselling provides reservation benefits to Category students. Student need an AIR of 1.2 Lakh in JEE Mains to get top branch(CSE) and AIR>1.2 lakh can get CS allied branches like Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence although major subjects in the semester are same. Jee Mains is conducted by NTA in two sessions and UPTAC Counselling is conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University(A.K.T.U.) where students must pay application fee of 1000/- (Rough estimation) and prepare a choice filling order of colleges affiliated to A.K.T.U.

- Quality of Teachers in 1st year . In first year teachers are really good you will feel that you are in school.
- College Environment. Environment is really good . Infrastructure and greenery are really appreciable.
Dislikes
- Strict attendance policy . In first year you have to maintain 75% any how. After 1st your 50% is ok but not in 1st year
- Management of college is not that much satisfactory

I choose this college over other because of low fees , and relaxation that they give as compare to other colleges to explore yourself. You can get in this college through management quota or through aktu counselling or on you 12th result basis.

There are admissions through aktu counseling and merit based selection in merit based if you want to opt cse then you should score more than 95 in 12th and through counseling for cse and allied branches last cut off is around 4 lakh

- The infrastructure of my college is good and the college buildings are big.
- I have got the best faculties till now in this college. The way of their teaching is best. Each and every teacher pay full attention on every students.
Dislikes
- There is lack of workshop facility in the college like there is no 3D printing machine and laser machine available in the workshop.
- The campus size is also not too big but ok.
Admission:
During UPTAC councellinng I applied in colleges like IET lucknow, BIET jhansi, GL BAJAJ NOIDA and KNIT sultanpur along with GCET. I got seat in GL BAJAJ according to my rank in jee mains exam but did not accept it because of high fees and strictness in that college. Thats why I accept GCET over GL BAJAJ because of low fees and best faculty. I got rejection from college like IET LUCKNOW, BIET JHANSI AND KNIT SULTANPUR because of low rank in jee mains. The jee mains exam is accepted for the admission in B.Tech course in GCET. You have to first qualify the jee mains exam with decent marks so that you cross the cutoff of the course you are going to take admission in.

- They mix both GU and GCET students for placement
- They focus more on GU students in placement

So I applied in this college through Aktu after applying in CUET so basically first you have to attend the cuet exam then after this aktu counselling start ... I'm very clear that i have to study in Noida and in noida its my guarantee it is a best college among all

- Their is only one hostel for boys as well as for girls
- There is no lift in college. To get 4th floor you had go through stars

I got admission in many colleges like kiet, miet. No i I don't get rejection i don't want to get in it. Admission process is simple three 1. Direct through donations 2. Direct through Merit 3. Through AKTU counseling

Talking about the admission process you have to first give JEE mains exam then you can apply for AKTU councelling where you can choose the college according to your preference. You have to get atleast 85 percentile to get cs branch in b.tech

- I think college is good in terms of infrastructure, it has every thing a student can need
- Ratio is not that good , boys are more than girls but that's not a issue
Dislikes
- Ratio is not good of boys and gurls that make harder for some boys to talk with girls with confidence
- Infrastructure can be improved in terms of looks

I chose this college because this college has less fees compared to other engineering colleges and has a good reputation in NCR region. I was preparing for jee but my preparation was not that Good. It takes admission on direct basis as well as with UPTU councelling

- Best infrastructure, cafeteria,and well managed and occupied labs in galgotia college.
- Best opportunities for sports field students, and also all equipment are present in college.
Dislikes
- Sometimes i dislike attendance criteria of this college must have to maintain 75 percent attendance.
- Too much assignment have to write and due to this you got less time to study.

Firstly, my college location factor is best near metro station and near national Highway compared to other colleges and fees of my college is low And many opportunities in this college and cuttoff is average and also easily got admission in this college.

I only apply for two colleges at the time of my counselling. First one is MMMUT and second one is GCET at which currently i'm pursuing my graduation. The addmission process in our college is first of all you must have gave Jee mains exam. In the case if you didn't gave the Mains exam than you may apply for direct addmission but you have to fill the application form if you're eligible than only you get addmission without Mains examination

In compare to others college more companies came in my college. For taking admission in btech one should scored 60 percent in PCM

Is it a good idea to leave galgotias after 1 year and go for iet Lucknow?
Be more specific about your rank as it would help define the scenario better. But, in any case, you should know the various advantages of IET Lucknow over Galgotias. Some of them are as follows:
- The peer group at IET Lucknow is extremely better and they choose to be focused on every cause whatsoever.
- It is a government-run institute, which gives it an upper hand.
- There is the provision of a scholarship for complete waiver on the tuition fees for several backward students in the class. You might also secure your B.Tech degree completely free. Besides, it comes with amazing ROI.
- The faculty in every department is better than most other institutes around. Both permanent and visiting, in Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, and the CSE department are one of a kind.
- You will also have access to several coaching centers within a 2 KM radius, which is highly beneficial. Thus, you can prepare with liberty for as many exams as you want to take, like CAT, GATE, UPSC, GRE, and others.
- The placement drive has always been good. The visiting companies are Amazon, Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Sigma, LAVA international, Honda Cars, Analytics Quotient, Snapdeal, BSNL, Merchant Navy, Sterlite, Tata Chemicals, and more.
Other than the advantages, here are some of its demerits,
- The infrastructure of IET Lucknow is somewhat poor, as is found in many other government institutes.
- The administration can sometimes be extremely indifferent towards the requirements students usually have.
- The quality of pedagogy is rapidly deteriorating in most classes.
You can enroll at IET Lucknow only if you wish to pursue Mechanical Engineering, CSE, or Civil Engineering. In contrast, if you want to ace other important competitive exams, then you can research more about other institutes as well.

B tech cse fees
The first year fee of GCET Greater Noida B.Tech. CSE is INR one lac sixteen thousand. The second, third and fourth year fees are the same INR one lac ten thousand.
The per year fee of Galgotias College of Engineering B.Tech. CSE is INR One lac sixteen thousand. The total fee of the course is INR Four lac sixty four thousand. The average hostel fee is INR Ninety thousand per year.
