For the B.Tech admissions at GCET Greater Noida, candidates must appear for the JEE Main examination and participate in the UPTAC counselling for the final seat allotments. - B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (5% marks relaxation for reserved category candidates) from a recognized board.

I choose this college over GL Bajaj NIET, GNIOT and other colleges due to its aktu ranking and its infrastructure and its placement record. However, the placement scenarios have declined recently, our college is still the best in terms of campus life. They host North India's biggest fest that is UNIFEST, we conduct GIMUN, the best MUN in the circuit and GIH, the GOAT hackathon by our very own technical team. We have 21 societies such as photography, graphics, finance and administration and operations.

What is the admissions process for the Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology?
There are two campuses in Galgotia - Galgotia college of engineering and Galgotia University, Galgotia College of Engineering, and Galgotia University.
Galgotia College of Engineering is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Its admission is tougher than other branches students must score over 90 marks in JEE MAIN to get selected. After that counseling session is done in June and July month.
Galgotia University’s admission procedure is easier than Galgotia College of engineering. Students with good marks in GEEE and 12 boards will easily get admission. Its infrastructure, computer lab facility, education, is better than Galgotia college of engineering.
There are total 2 admission procedures for Galgotia College of Engineering -
- UPTU counseling - They take admission through UPTU counseling on the basis of, UPTU rank and JEE- Mains all India rank (AIEEE). The allotment of seats is done on the basis of (85:15)% ratio respectively.
- Management Quota - By this, you will be able to reserve your seat and get direct admission.
