Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

Infrastructure is Beautiful with Much Greenery, small but cute campus.
Smart Classroom Facilities like smart digital boards, ACs in every classroom, LMS system
Most of the Faculties are good and supportive. They give better internal marks than other colleges.

Dislikes

Student interactions are not that good. Most of them are here just for degree and timepass.
This college is affiliated to AKTU which is very poor in terms of checking, exam conduction and coordination
School type culture is there in college. Focusing more on attendance than actual industrial learning.

Admission:

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students.

The professor is preety much cool and is very friendly they give good mentorship they help student for finding the internship they give the roadmap for geeting an paid internship.
galgotia college of engineering and technology have very good infrastructure and learning facilities like advanced lab facilities and the recently changed the white board to smart board in every class room for study.
The placement services provide great services for carrer development they inform the students about various company job opening and closing date and where to apply and what are the criteria to apply in this company,

There is so much competetion in the college for placement .

I liked the environment and the relaxation given in the attendance
Career opportunities are also very much due to avg package being 6lpa and more than 75% of students placed

The library is not all digital. It doesn't have switchboards

I got this college because of the bit chill environment and not very strict environment which is why I choose this over GL bajaj i was getting.Although I wanted to go JSS but couldn't go there due to low jee rank. It takes admissions through direct , management and JEE.Cs is the most preferred as usual

Admission:

At the same time, I feel there is room for improvement. If the curriculum included more exposure to modern software tools like AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Revit, and Primavera, it would make us more industry-ready. More site visits, practical workshops, and real project case studies would also help us understand how things work outside the classroom. Some teaching methods could be made more interactive, with more problem-solving sessions rather than only theory-based lectures.

Admission:

I chose GCET because of its good faculty, modern infrastrcture and active campus life comapred to other colleges i considered. The placement support and industry exposure here seemed better suited for my career goals. The admission process was straightforward, involving merit based elogibilty and timely documentation. While i applied to GCET only as my prefernce and it offered me a balanced mix of academics, infrasturcture and opportunities making it my preferred choice.

Galgotias College Of Engineering & Technology- A complete review

The college atmosphere is inclusive and friendly. You get to interact with students from all over the country. The seniors are helpful and cooperative and openly shares their notes, experiences and helps in clearing doubts.
The faculty is experienced and well-informed. Most of them have a good teaching method - they discuss important topics deeply , share course materials, assignments online and are always open to one on one doubt clearing sessions.
The college infrastructure is very well developed. All the classes have smart boards and ACs . The labs have all the instruments and there are specific spaces alloted to parkings, canteen area, GD area and a big central library.

Dislikes

The is very strict with the attendence , specially in the 1st year (min. 75% required to sit in exams). The curriculum is rigorous and some subjects are outdated.
Although the Infrastructure is good, but there is no bus service available which is somewhat problematic for the day scholars.
Most of the faculty is impressive but some are very rude and strict. Some of them just come and copy their notes without much explaining and are not at all cooperative with the students.

Admission:

I had applied in - GL Bajaj (greater noida) Abes engeneering college(ghaziabad) HMR institute (Delhi) I chose this college based on a comparative analysis of all the parameters (Affordability, Location , Placements, Alumini reviews , campus life etc). This college was relatively affaordable as compared to other colleges which I had applied for. The campus life and vibe of this college is better with more clubs and co-curricular activities. Its loaction is very near to the metro/bus services and has a campus area of about 19 acres. The placements of this college was better than most of the otheer colleges I had applied for. I did not get rejection from any college I had applied in , I just chose this college on the basis of my comparative analysis. ADMISSION PROCESS- 1) Management quota: The admission is based on class XII merit and first come first serve basis. You first have to apply on college website then you recieve a provisional admission letter . After recieving the letter you have to pay rs.25000/- within one week. Then, in july if you get into the provisional merit list , you have to come to the college with all your documents for physical verification and fee payment. 2) UPTAC councelling: The 1st 3 rounds of councelling are only for JEE mains and UP domicile students. The subsequent rounds are for XII MERIT/ CUET/ JEE MAINS. The cutoff for btech cse for general category in jee mains is about 80-85%ile. Most of the students (85%) are from councelling and rest 15% from management quota. The overall admission process is lengthy with a long list of documents required at the time of admission.

curriculum of the aktu used in our college is not very much efficient for the good skilled knowledge .

caffeteria food is not that good at all , they took a good anount but dont retuen well.

Campus life is so good ,seniors are very friendly nature and supportive. In this college quality of social interaction is good .
Placement cell is good and its infrastructure is also good and all the teachers provided knowledge for carrier development.
In galgotias college quality of the infrastructure is very well and campus amenities and learning facilities is also good .

Dislikes

If you are beginner in coding then you phase problem to understand because teachers are focus to complete aktu syllabus .
Faculties expertise are average but teaching and mentoring is good .
75 percent attendance criteria is important ,if you not complete the criteria of attendance then you retained in exam.

Admission:

I choose this college because best teaching faculty and low fees compare to other best private college . I compare about fees ,faculty, infrastructure etc to other college . Everything is ok but you must do some coding before coming college. You come in this college through uptu counselling. If you cuttoff clear then you take admission. Then you come in college on given date after consulling then you fill form qnd submit all documents according to given data .

A HONEST EXPERIENCE

Likes

The main thing that i have liked about the college is college life and its atmosphere..You will find it very good if talking about fests and also you will find competitive students among us academically or in sports or in any field.all sports approx
if i talk about the academics and the study culture of the college it is based on aktu syllabus..supportive faculty will be provided to the students by the college but to be honest you have to prepare yourself for any test or for the academics.
The another thing is infrastructure..it is quite good as the private college situated in greater noida...if you consider this it is well enough for the students..

Dislikes

For study perspective more theoretical than practical..means as like you are in school.
Some classrooms may not be ac centralized...but can be installed by complaing to the college.
IN my opinion the curriculum or the method of study is not good.

Admission:

I have got fw seat in this college and got ece branch thats why i choose gcet over other college..as my rank is also sufficient for cse in this or other but as per my interest i choose this..thats why i did not fill otther colleges in uptac counselling,
