UPTAC 2025: B.Pharm/PharmD Counselling Open, Check Dates, Process, Fee, Cutoff, Seat Allotment

Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) is conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) for admission to various UG and PG programs, including BTech, BDes, B Pharmacy, Pharma D, MBA, MCA, etc. Aspirants can participate in the UPTAC Counselling 2025 based on the scores in JEE Main, CUET UG, NATA, and CUET PG entrance tests.

AKTU is conducting the UPTAC 2025 counselling is ongoing for B.Pharm and Pharm D on the official website uptac.admissions.nic.in. UPTAC CUET UG Pharmacy counselling schedule has been revised.

• For UPTAC B.Pharm and Pharm D counselling, the seat allotment for Round 1 will be released on October 17, 2025. Report to the allotted college by October 20, 2025.
• Subsequently, UPTAC Pharmacy counselling seat allotment for Round 2, 3, Internal Sliding, and Special Round 1 will be released on October 24, October 29, November 3, and November 7, 2025.

UPTAC Counselling 2025 Entrance Exams

AKTU offers admission to its courses based on various national-level entrance tests. Students can check the table below for the entrance exams accepted by AKTU for the respective courses.

UPTAC Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

UPTAC 2025 eligibility criteria are different for different courses as discussed in the table below.

• A minimum 3-year bachelor's degree is required for admission to MBA/MCA programs.
• For BTech Lateral Entry admissions, BSc candidates must pass Engineering Drawing/Engineering Graphics/Engineering Mechanics along with 2nd year subjects.
• NRI candidates can get direct admission to 5% of state-funded or private institutes(except MBA, MCA), provided they meet the eligibility criteria. However, for BArch admissions, NATA 2025 is mandatory.
• FN/PIO/CIWGC candidates must have cleared the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12th as recognised by AIU. Such candidates must submit their passports or equivalent proof of nationality.
• Private institutes are allowed to fill their 15% seats through the Management/NRI Quota based on merit.
• Institutes can fill the vacant seats in BTech, B Pharma, and MCA courses after the completion of the counseling process through direct admission based on merit; however, priority is given to CUET-qualified candidates

UPTAC 2025 Counselling Process

UPTAC counselling process 2025 includes various stages, including registration, document verification, choice filling and locking and so on. Candidates can check the steps included in the UPTAC 2025 counselling below.

UPTAC Registration and Fee Payment

Once the registration window is opened for UPTAC 2025, candidates can log on to the official website of UPTAC 2025 and fill out the UPTAC application form 2025. The application form for UPTAC 2025 must be filled in using personal, academic and other details. After filling out the application form, aspirants must pay the UPTAC application fee of INR 1,000 or as prescribed by the concerned authority.

UPTAC 2025 Document Verification

While applying for UPTAC 2025, candidates must upload all the required documents as prescribed by AKTU. Students must upload the documents as per the required specifications, including a signature of 30 KB maximum size and a photograph of 100 KB maximum size. Both documents are to be uploaded in JPEG format. After the registration and document uploading phase, students must get their documents verified. Aspirants will be notified via SMS/Email once their documents are verified, and such candidates can proceed to fill out and lock their choices.

UPTAC 2025 Seat Allotment Result and Seat Acceptance

After the completion of the UPTAC 2025 choice filling and locking phase, AKTU will proceed to prepare the UPTAC 2025 allotment list. Once released, students can log on to the official website of UPTAC 2025 to check their allotment. Candidates who make it to the UPTAC 2025 allotment list must freeze, float or withdraw their seats..

• Freeze: Candidates satisfied with their allotment must freeze their seats and must pay the seat acceptance fee of INR 20,000 for general/OBC candidates and INR 12,000 for SC/ST candidates.
• Float: Candidates who are not satisfied with their allocation and want to upgrade their seats must choose the “Float” option.
• Withdraw: Candidates who are not satisfied with their allocation and do not want to participate in further UPTAC counselling rounds must choose the “Withdraw” option.

UPTAC 2025 Admission 2025

Students willing to accept their allotted seats must get their provisional allotment letter and report to their allotted institutes to complete further admission formalities. Students must bring original documents for verification and must pay the remaining amount of the admission fee prescribed by the respective institutes. The amount paid as the seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against the total admission fee.
