The UPTAC 2026 application form (counselling registration) is open from May 25, 2026, at the official portal uptac.samarth.edu.in. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, conducts UPTAC for centralised admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, and other professional courses across 756+ affiliated institutions in Uttar Pradesh.

How to Fill UPTAC Application Form 2026

The UPTAC 2026 registration process is divided into two phases. Complete both phases in a single session, wherever possible; do not leave the form incomplete. Registration opens only in Round 1 and does not reopen in subsequent rounds.

Phase 1: New Registration

• Visit uptac.samarth.edu.in and click "New Registration" or "Apply Now".
• Enter your JEE Main 2026 Application Number (or the application number of your qualifying entrance exam — CUET/NATA as applicable), along with your name, mother's name, date of birth, and gender.
• Provide a valid mobile number and email ID — all future communications from AKTU will be sent to these.
• Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS.
• Set a strong password and note your UPTAC Registration Number — you will need it for every future login, document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment.
• Enter your APAAR ID — this is mandatory for 2026. If you have not generated it yet, go to digilocker.gov.in first.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

• Log in at uptac.samarth.edu.in using your Registration Number and Password.
• Fill in your personal details: full name (as on Class 10 certificate), date of birth, gender, category, sub-category (if applicable), and nationality.
• Fill in your academic details: Class 10 and 12 board, year of passing, roll number, percentage, and subjects.
• Enter your entrance exam details: JEE Main 2026 Application Number, rank/paper, CUET subject paper, or NATA score as applicable.

• Pay the registration fee of ₹1,000 via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Documents Required for UPTAC Application Form 2026

UPTAC Application Fee 2026
