Course Review and help offered by Faculties
I have choosen the tech domain of CSE due to the fact that technology is eager to accumulate the entire market till 2027 . The teachers from the second year are very much focused on the placement issue. They organize regular interactive sessions on the basis of previous performance in the Lab. The areas include the Syllabus of the AKTU is very outdated which even restricts the college from making further changes. This is the most hectic part of the engineering here as we have the following exams before the main UE they are as Pre CT, CT 1, CT 2, and PUE. The exams here occur at a frequency of about every month, Which makes student difficult to manage their technical skills and academic results.
Placement Scenario in the Campus
The placement as compared to other NCR colleges is obviously better but when you compare the actual stats with the shown one, There is a slight difference the average package is around 7 LPA and the highest this year is 60 LPA offered by American Express to 2 students. The percentage of students getting placed is around 95% and about 400 companies visited the campus like TCS, Accenture, The josh Group, etc.
Internship Opportunities and Projects Offered
Internships are provided by TBI inside the KIET itself, The companies do visit for the internship but the number is minimal. The respective department focuses on the projects and required certifications for the internship the companies coming for the internship are Infosys, wipro, Amex, etc.
Fees Structure, and Scholarships Available
The fee here is 138999 which is less than many Delhi NCR colleges like GL Bajaj and NIET, KIET provides much better ROI in terms of education and overall growth. I am a student of CSE(Fw) fee waiver seat, and admission to this course is a little tougher than the conventional course as the cutoff goes higher, In this course my tuition fees have been omitted by the institute. although for the conventional fee course, the total expenditure involves about 6 lakhs for the Btech course. Campus Life here at kiet provides you a one step solution for the entertainment . EPOQUE is the annual fest of the college many famous stars such as Darshan Raval and Jubin Nautiyal Have visited the college for performing . The kiet has its own magazine and news letter publishing news and updates . The sports facilities at kiet are very good as KIET Has its own sports fest RANN which has many games inclusing Esports .
Students View on Faculties
On coming to the student to faculty ratio . The class size is very small i.e it has capacity to accomodate 75 students . This give us freedom to ask doubts without any hassle . We have smart classes and smart board as well for interactive and demonstrative type of class. We have weekly mentorship session to ensure no stones are unturned by the Faculty side for the growth of student .
Hostel Facility and eligibility Criteria
Hostel is available inside the college for boys and girls both , The hostel is clean and food is good when comapred to hostel standards , The registration process is like when you come for submitting fees you have to submit the hostel fees and book the seat . The condition for getting hostel in 2nd year is to maintain 85% aggregate attendance .
Admission Criteria in College
The admission eligibility of the course is 10 + 2 for the direct entry for Btech and JEE Mains for admission through AKTU Counselling . My CSE FW was available for me at 65081 rank in JEE mains . Admission is only 1 time a year .

Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology Ghaziabad, popularly known as KIET Ghaziabad is a private institution approved by the AICTE and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. - KIET Applications are invited only in online mode and candidates must visit the official website of the university to fill the KIET Ghaziabad application form 2024.
- KIET Ghaziabad Admissions are based on merit of specific entrance tests for 85% of the seats and merit of the qualifying examination for 15% of the seats in each course except MTech and MPharm

With more than 25 years of excellence, KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh has a campus area of 18.20 acres where more than 7500 students are getting their education. Below are some of the facilities available for the KIETians:
- Hostel: Separate boys and girls hostel is available at KIET Ghaziabad. The hostel rooms are clean, well-ventilated and well-furnished. Furthermore, for the entertainment of the hostel inmates, a common room with a T.V., indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a gym, hygienic hostel mess with a dining hall, an entertainment room, cafeterias, etc are also available. To ensure safety of the KIET Ghaziabad hostel inmates, there's active surveillance by CCTV cameras and security guards are on-duty 24×7.
- Central Library: The central library of KIET Ghaziabad is connected with 8 departmental libraries and has a collection of over 1.85 lakh books. Apart from books, the library has subscribed to more than 123 periodicals and e-resources such as IEEEXplore, EBSCO, and Bentham. It is also a part of the National Digital library (NDL). KIET Ghaziabad library is fully air-conditioned and has a separate facility of book-bank with more than 1.10 lakh books.
- Cafeteria: The cafeteria at KIET is one of the favorite places of KIETians. It is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate 250 people at a time. Hygienic food at reasonable rates is available in the cafeteria including North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese cuisines. Moreover, six refreshment outlets including Heroes, Big Bite, Cafe Coffee Day, Coke, and Nishu's Cafe are also stationed inside the institute's campus to cater to the hunger needs of students at any hour of the day.
- Sports: Various sports facilities are offered to KIETians to promote a healthy sports environment. Several outdoor courts for games like Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Tennis, Hockey, Football etc and indoor games like table tennis, badminton, billiards, carrom, etc are set-up at the institute to promote sports among its students. Intercollegiate tournaments are also held at the institute as a part of extracurricular activities. Alongside, a gym, judo training center, and a shooting range are also provided to the students within the campus.
- Transportation: Ten buses from various routes ply to-and-fro from the institute to various major stops. Faculty and staff members along with day scholar students can avail the facility of these buses. In addition, for the convenience of those who are working beyond the normal working hours of the college, one bus departs at 7:00 pm everyday.
- Medical Facility: A medical OPD facility is available within the campus of KIET Ghaziabad. An MBBS doctor and a nursing assistant are available at this OPD during specific hours of the day. Additionally, in case of emergencies, two ambulances are also available on the campus.

Why is the IT department of KIET better than AKG?
As a current student at KIET, my opinion is that the IT branch at KIET is better than that at AKG.
The IT branch has excellent labs and an amazing faculty. You’ll get all sorts of facilities that a department needs. A variety of workshops, seminars, conferences, and guest lectures are organized regularly.
The placement rates have been consistently good over the past 5-6 years. In 2023, the IT branch's placement percentage was about 93.81%. The highest and average CTC stood at INR 48.89 LPA and INR 6.78 LPA respectively. The major recruiters at the IT branch in KIET are Cognizant, Infosys, Flipkart, Amazon, PWC and many others.
Which is better, KIET or NIET?
I believe KIET is better than NIET in terms of curriculum, placements, infrastructure, and cleanliness. If we look at the ranking data, NIRF ranks KIET 151-200 out of 200 BTech colleges in India.

If you want to know about the real point of view of students, let me tell you, KIET is the best among all these colleges. KIET provides amazing placements for their BTech department, especially their CSE branch. In 2023 the highest package in CSE was INR 48.89 LPA. The placement percentage was also very high at 93.98%.
Our college is also very lenient in terms of attendance. If you are like me, and struggling to make up for the classes, this college can be a good option as KIET will not give you a headache for the same. There are a variety of festivals and cultural events celebrated in KIET.
Which college is better, BIET Jhansi or KIET Ghaziabad?
I think KIET Ghaziabad is a much better institute than BIET Jhansi.
The placement record of KIET has been consistently higher than BIET in the last few years. Also, their placement cell works very effectively in inviting top companies for placements and internships. Over 90% of students are placed in KIET as opposed to BIET, where the placement percentage is about 60%-70% only.
Reputed companies like Capgemini, Reliance, Wipro, Tata, Paytm, IBM, etc have been visiting the college for placements. They had one of the best packages last year in 2023, which was around INR 48.89 LPA, in their CSE and IT branches. This is also consistently higher than BIET.
How is campus life like at KIET?
The campus life at KIET is pretty good. I am a second year B.Tech student at this institution, and I will surely miss my college life once I graduate.
The college canteen offers good quality food at reasonable charges. The hostels are nice. Those who don’t wish to be a hosteller, can opt for PGs or rented rooms. These are easily available in the surrounding areas. Hostellers are not allowed to go outside the campus after 10-11 pm.
The Annual Day function can not be forgotten. It's a week-long event that ends with a performance by some well known celebrity singer each year. There is the annual tech event named Innotech. Apart from the tech event, KIET organizes art and poetry events as well. The nearest movie theater from the campus is Movie World. It can be reached by Auto for mere 10 rupees.
