Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) is located across 50 Acres of Land in Kanpur. It offers 7 departments and has a dedicated institute for each one of them. Students are offered the best facilities, learning environment, and infrastructural amenities. Some of the key features are listed below:

Classrooms, laboratories, and auditoriums are available for students with all the required equipment and facilities. 2 auditoriums with 500 seating capacity with a high-end sound system.
7 departmental Libraries are provided inside the campus. These include 3 large central libraries for Engineering, Pharmacy, and the Dental College. The engineering library has over 40,000 books, whereas the dental & pharmacy library has over 30,000 books.
MPGI offers hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. 2 boys' hostels, named RN Tagore Boys Hostel and Aryabhatta Boys Hostel, have a capacity of 57 rooms and 140 rooms, respectively. They are available on a twin-sharing basis only. Sarojini Naidu Hall of Residence is available for Girls with 132 rooms on a twin-sharing basis. Ans. MPGI offers merit-based and government scholarships along with student loan assistance. It helps students in providing documents for the application of the scholarship scheme provided by Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, an entity of the Government of India. Students are liable to pay the complete fee if the fee amount reimbursed by SKV or any other government body is less than the actual fee to be paid.

Institute-level scholarships are offered INR 25 Crore worth of scholarship announced by the Minister of State for External Affairs & the Minister of Statistics & Program Implementation.

Students view on course curriculum

I choose BDS because as all knows take admission in MBBS is so hard that's why I choose BDS . When I was in 1st year I am not interested in BDS but after doing practical take knowledge about BDS so I realized that BDS is so interesting course. Student who are interested or not in BDS knows something about BDS if you choose BDS first of all you will be prepare for do so much practical work , BDS have so much practical work but they very interesting. If your artistic then you will choose BDS because BDS is a art if you art work is so good then you will choose BDS. In BDS you have to make patience because there are many rejection in practical work . People who sad in BDS their is no scope of earning they are wrong if you are talented you earn so well .

Internship opportunities provided by the college

Our college provides internship facility of 1.5 year .But it is not paid internship program. In internship they give you the target of patients work .after reach tha target they change you compartment. There are 8 compartment of different kind like prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and many more. Patient flow is average here after corona.

What is the total fees of the course?

Course fees is 197500 of mine and the hostel fees is 75000 but they increase hostel fees every year . UP scholarships facility is also available for UP students. Scholarships amount is almost 50000 . College fees is low in comparison to other colleges but you have to buy some equipment that are so expensive so almost your total package of fees of 5 years is almost 1300000 rupees.

Students view on campus life

College infrastructure is awesome. It has very beautiful campus view. Many health camps are organized in College. Student give chances to participate in outside camps . Many cultural event are organized here . Smart class are also provided. They give opportunity to students to participate in events of Indian dental association to present their presentations in events.

Facilities provided in the college hostel

Hostel fees is 75000 rupees but every year there is increment in hostel fees . Hostel is not so good but also not bed. Here there are facility of induction and kettle to make food . In winter they provide facility for hot water to bath. Some rooms are very beautiful but some rooms are very bed in condition. They shows you demo room it is very beautiful but the room that are exactly provide to you is not so good there are many problems you have to face in the room.

Students view on faculties and their teaching methods

All the teachers have masters in their branches. Teachers are very supportive and they always motivate us to do better in our carrier. They always give us demo of all the practicals and also they provide us notes also . In other colleges teachers not provide notes but our teachers give their best to us.

How to get admission in the college and what sets the college stand out ?

You have to clear neet exam. And the cutt off marks is 200. From college you collect the admission form then you fill this form and submit in college. Then counseling is held after that you submit 1 lakh in counseling. This is the procedure of admission. 1 lakh rupees of counseling is add as fees .

Life in MPGI

Likes

I personally really like the campus and the garden
the classrooms are very big for amount of stundent

Dislikes

washrooms are clean most of the time but some time at end of week it something you dont wanna see
some times in summer you may feel quite hot because of heat in the area

i decided to take admission here in MPCPS because i heard so much about the collage and i genuinely have no regret about taking this collage this is a very best collage in my opinon and ill suggest you to start your journey from here

I liked parking area, where many of car and bikes of students and staff can be parked

I choosed this college because this was near to my home , it made me easy to make daily up-down from home . And fees of this college is also less then other colleges Admission process is so simple , for bca you have to only pass 10+2 from any board I have applied for Psit college , kanpur . And i got confirmed admission, but i choose this college because psit was too far from my home . No i didn't got rejection from any college Admission process is to simple , you just have to pass 10+2 from any board. You should maths students for bca . You after pay small fee for sear booking , further it is added to your academic fees

The total fee for the Btech course is INR 2.2 Lakhs at the MPGI, Kanpur. Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, with one of these – Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. AND Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

No, you can not apply directly for MCA course in the institute just after completing the 12^th. You need to complete graduation in the relevant specialisation for being eligible.
