Since I am in civil engineering and The course taught to us is Relevant enough to Sustain in industry , Course curriculam is designed in such a way such that we can relate the day to day problems with it Course should include more tech based tools as this era is changing rapidly The frequecy of exams are good quiz helps us to prepare for the mid terms and end terms , difficulty is moderate

Companies such as JP Morgan Goldman Sachs , Flipkart , Microsoft Google came for internship and many more were there , the stipend ranges from 30k to 100k or some times above 100k but average if about 50k -60k I know this much only and i am figuring out the all the other things

From 7th sem students can apply for placements and frim 6th sem they can sit for placements This year total 123 companies visited - goldman sachs ,JP morgan , Mckinsey , BCG , Microsoft , Apple, Uber, Google and many more companies were there Highest this year was 61.03 lpa , and average was 13.8 lpa and median was 12 lpa Total percentage placed was near about 70 percent I will go for higher studies

I have paid total fees of 96000 tution fess in first semeseter and 94000 in second semester along with 133700 yearly as hostel and mess fees total 323700 yearly fees and for four years the total fees is 1294800. There is scholarship for top3 students in the whole batch and scholarships is there for bpl category student . While SC ST Students only have to pay hostel and mess fees

The annual fest if PEECFEST it was recently concluded and held in month of november around mid november All kinds of books are accessible in library but fiction is slightly less Technological provisions is slight less but decent enough Sports is not as good as it should be Most of the clubs are runned by students

Hostle are average and mess food is also decent Mess food some day is good and some day is bad Hostel is not so affordable It is litile bit expensive considering facilities There are pg nearby and you cn get it at same price as the hostel but the food is really good in pgs

I applied for IIITDM Jabalpur and BIT Mesra and PEC Chandigarh and got civil in PEC in last round , I chose this above BIT Mesra beacuse of location and fees Yes I didnt get a seat in IIITDM Jabalpur , my rank was 68000 and the last seat there closed at 63000 For Admission you have to give JEE Mains and secure a decent rank and apply for josaa counselling to get the seat

Faculty to student ratio is 1 is to 60 , faculties are approachable and helpful For maths Kamalpreet maam is best she is appraochable helpful and teach well and also help student with leninancy in attendance Dr SK Soni is the most hated professor of engineering drawing he is hated because of his illogical demands There is a quiz in almost every fortnight and midterm exams are there between the sem and end sems are at the end , difficulty if moderate but some time it is difficult .

Everything closes at 10 pm in college there is no night canteen and The night life is not good Hostel Timing is till 10 pm while there is no such campus timing Since the collge is in chandigarh there is plenty of hangout placese nerby 2 km radius
