I chose ECE due to my interest in electronic devices and diverse career opportunities. the highly qualified faculty use a mix of lectures, labs, and projects with timely and moderately challenging exams. Exams are a little bit difficult as it is for a total 150 which 100 for written exams and 50 for internal

Placement Experience

Campus placements occur in S7 ie, 7 th semester. Mainly visited companies are UST, TATA, and Infosys. The UST has friendship with Marian College as led many to be placed. As of the year 2024 more than 200 students are placed by various companies as Marian placement occurs more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fees include tuition and exam fees. It differs when the Exam fee changes. The scholarship available is through the KEAM exam rank, if no Keam exam u can avail through NRI.There are various clubs available for project submission which can get patents.There are various internships available in which stipend is provided

Campus Life

The main festival occurred is TEJASVI with occurs during even semester. The college also has different festive like arts day sports day and intercollege festival.There are differnt clubs include studies as welll as fun.

Admission

There are a total of 60 seats available in which for both government as well as NRI quota. Application is available in marian.ac.in site. The semester exam is for 3 hrs and the difficulty occurrence can't be said.

Faculty

The faculty and student ratio is not the same but nice teaching faculty with a great environment.Teaching is really good as the students understand everything clearly. Interaction with teachers is the best they are friendly toward the student

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

Opportunities

The admission process was smooth. Engineering is an aspiring profession which is made available to anyone who had completed high school by covering these three subjects - physics, chemistry and mathematics. Marian Engineering College provides professional courses in five different trades. They are Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Interested students can apply through the KEAM entrance which is conducted by the Kerala State Government and also can get a management seat directly through the college. Another option for getting admission is through the NRI quota, if any of your relatives are abroad such students can avail of the seat. There will be no fee deduction for the application form.
