I choose FISAT because it is close to my home and has good courses. Also, my friends was going there, and I thought it will be fun. I also like the campus, it looks big and clean. The other colleges I applied was far from home, and some was very expensive. I think FISAT was best choice for me because it is not so far, and fees are ok. I did not get into some other colleges because I did not get enough marks in entrance exam. I could not study much because I was not very focused, and I didn’t prepare for the entrance exam very well. Some other colleges had higher cutoffs, so I could not get in. In FISAT, the admission process was not hard. I had to fill online form and then write KEAM entrance exam. After that, I waited for the result and saw I got a seat in the college. I also had to pay fees and give documents like marksheets and ID proof. It was simple, but I had to wait for my turn in counseling, which was a bit boring. Comparing FISAT to others, the campus is bigger and there is lot of extra activities like sports, fests, and clubs. But other colleges had better placements for some branches like CSE, and their fees was higher. But I am happy in FISAT because it is good for my branch and I like the environment.
I also kept option for Model Engineering College, Trikkakara. But i got selection in Fisat during the first allotment itself. So i chose it. Admission criteria was Keam entrance examination. Cutoff rank of our college was 15000 for general category.Inorder to qualify the exam the Students must score a bare minimum of 10 marks. My overall admission experience in Fisat was satisfying.

I had applied for different government colleges across the state but as I didn't have much rank in keam. So i researched on private institutions and came to found that FISAT one of the best among the private colleges. The reviews over the internet said about the institutions infrastructure, placement, hostel and co curricula activities and also the cultural programmes. It has also had a good rating out of 5 in every aspects. I also applied for aeronautical engineering in an engineering college in palakkad which I got in first allotment and I got aeronautical engineering in Ace engineering College in trivandrum which I got in second allotment but as an average college, i didn't like the vibe that had around the college, so i decided to change it in third allotment. That's how I got into FISAT in the third allotment. Even though I had 12K rank in keam, it was a tight competition to even get into computer science department in FISAT, but i chose electronics and communication over computer science. Year by year the competition has increased for even private institutions especially which are located in Ernakulam. The admission process was pretty easy through the keam. If you good ranking around 10K, you can easily get into computer science department at FISAT. You can also get into FISAT through management quota which doesn't have much variation in fees. Most of the students get into FISAT is through Keam entrance exam. And there is also a tight competition for computer science and electronics and communication department.
