My genuine review about my campus life at FISAT

Likes

The faculties are soo supportive and friendly with students
The classes are neat and well maintained with cameras
The campus environment is so good with beautiful gardens , greenfields , ponds ,foundations

Dislikes

Some areas are still under construction which looks a little unattractive
The ground is not available for the students of the campus
Food quality of the canteen has to improve a lot

Likes

Infrastructure is the best among the colleges i have seen.Classrooms are bigger and more open so fresh air could pass through
Computer labs the really good with high spec machines and also the vr labs
The staffs and faculty are really awesome they support every individual atudenta to achieve their goals

Dislikes

Fees are really a big concern for people like me
The bus facility and the bus fees are too high
The canteen ,the food rates are high and not enough quantity.They are increasing the cost every single semester

Admission:

I really went for admission in the last hour.So all the colleges were filled at that time and only seats available was NRI.So my cusin was studying in this college at that time and frome here i camee to know that this college has the best placements and all so i went there and by seeing my marks and all they agreed to give me a management seat for computer science and engineering

My college life

Likes

I collage there are many activities like hakethon fest etc
Boys to girls ratio is 40:60 there is a very good enviornment between teachers and students
They provide many facilities for sports activities and have a huge library

Dislikes

There are some small ragging by seniors to first years
Very strict will not allow to go outside without permission
Less amount of advanced technologies and workshops for studiying

I applied to collage because It is considered as one of the top collages which get maximum placement drives among other private collages. I do not get admission in good government collages because my keam mark was very low to get admission in best collagess like thrissur engineering collage etc

Federal Institute Of Science and Technology:brief in my view

Likes

The main thing i likes about this college is places present here for chilling out.
Best facilities for sports and practice .
National Cadet Corps is another main thing i like here

Dislikes

Behaviour of some of the male mess staffs.
Teaching method like spoonfeeding of some of the teachers.
Early time restriction in the hostel.I havent seen this college in the moonlight.

Admission:

Compared to other private colleges more fests are here. Admission to the gov quota seats are based in the ntrance exam KEAM. Cutoff for eachbranch will vary according to the year.Sports facilities and NCC attracted me to join here.

good acadamics with bad campus life

college is following the policy of green campus . college have pretty green environment which is very clean . the college have a very large cricket ground and a football ground which is highly maintained on the daily basis .
college also a have good outdoor basket ball and volley ball court . the faculties are highly qualified and have a good teaching method.
college also have a great placement cell and a placement training . the sports and players gets very encouraged by the management . the management give a good back support to all players .

Dislikes

infrastructure is pretty old fashioned . The lack of the use of modern technology in classes is seem . the library is not available after a particular time .
the college have a strict policies inside campus. also follows strict policies on acadamics which put pressure on students .
the canteen facility is not good . canteen is not available after a particular time . And canteen will be unavailable without giving proper notice . hostel also have strict policies.

Admission:

i applied many collegeslike LPU,SRM,VIT and also got approved . but the fees demanded by many universities were not affordable. i choose this college because of its decent acadmics for affordable amount of fees . comparing to other colleges area of plan is small and infrastucture quality is also poor . also the use of technology is low . admission is through 3 ways NRI,Management,Merit . merit is based on keam entrance exam rank . the cut off ec and cs is 12000 and 8000 respectiviely .admission process is very easy.

My first preference was electronics and communication engineering. According to my keam marks the best college available was FISAT. So I chose FISAT. Admission process takes place on the basis of KEAM examination. The last rank for getting electronics and communication engineering in fisat is around 15000.

Likes

Fisat offers a well maintained and clean campus.
Top notch food provided by the mess. Menu changes every 3 months.
Highly qualified and supportive faculty . Well maintained labs.

Dislikes

The college offers less cultural events compared to other colleges.
Sometimes the canteen is closed early making it difficult for the students to buy eateries.
Strict college with lots of rules and regulations.

Admission:

The admission process of the college is through keam which is a state entrance exam for medical, engineering , architecture,etc. The rank required to enter fisat is quite decent. Fisat also has MBA and MTech

Proper way of teaching, every student have a group advisor through out the four years.
Many active communities like ieee ,asme ,sae and many more
Compared to other private college straightness is slightly low

Dislikes

Faculty members forced to follow Attendance strictly
Events are low during even and odd semester , the program baratham takes place once in two years
Collage is located in a rural region, bus services are low

Admission:

I joined this college because of the placement output and the pass percentage are slightly high than the other private colleges and i had a low mark on keam and plus two so i joined in management quota and fees is high , due to the low mark i cannot get into the government college near by.

Likes

Events are less, they take classes even if events are going on
Seniors, and other department students are very supportive
Teachers are good, supportive. But there are some teachers who are very strict

Dislikes

Events are less, they give more importance to studies

Admission:

I applied this collage mainly because it was not far to my home. So i can be the dayscholar. If we want to take admission in this collage we should apply for keam and get a good rank. If you get a rank around 10k you will suerly get the seat for ece. 50% seats are given under keam and rest is management seat in which fee may be higher.
