FISAT MCA : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the MCA program at the college can be secured through the Kerala Entrance Examination rank or via management seats based on academic marks. The process starts in April, with classes beginning in September or October. The program accommodates 120 students per batch, divided into two groups of 60, ensuring personalized attention. The faculty is supportive, accessible, and plays a significant role in students' academic and professional growth. The curriculum, while comprehensive, includes some outdated topics.

The program fee is around 50,000 to 60,000 per year, excluding exam fees. From the 5th semester, students receive placement training, with a focus on securing campus recruitment. Over 20 companies participate in the placement process annually, including UST, TCS, and Federal Bank. Although 40% of students typically secure placements, this rate has been higher in the past but recently declined due to economic conditions. The highest salary packages range from 6-8 LPA, while the average stands at 3-4 LPA.

FISAT provides scholarships, including merit-cum-need, SC/ST, and OBC scholarships, benefiting students under government schemes with reduced fees. The MCA program's first-year fee includes a 10,000 refundable deposit, but an additional 36,000 is needed for placement training. The college's fee structure is relatively lower than others, with reductions available for mess fees.
