Perspective of a student

Actually college life is good. There is lot to study rather than from books in college.

Architecture filed is something creative comparing other courses. So for that curriculum is also based on a students creative ability to design the given task or project within a time period. The exams mainly includes drafting ability within a time period.

Actually architecture college doesn't provide any kind of placements or internship. Because in architecture a student is selected for internship or for job will be considered mainly by his design skills and problem solving skills. So colleges cannot specify skills of students certainly like any kinds of it professionals or engineers.

There will be cultural fests, technical fests, sports events, like mirage, kickoff, technoz, so many events including cultural festivals like onam celebrations, Christmas celebrations, and there will also be an annual nasa students association zonasa for mainly architecture students.

For the merit students the annual tuition fee is about 85000 but for a management student it is about 160000 but therea are scholarships for merit students form government side like those who had secure 90 percentage in plus two exams will get reduced fee than merit students.

I opted for education loan through an centralized bank known as state bank of india. After the interview with manager he granted the loan which will pay my tuition fee yearly.

The campus life is so good the girls dominate boys in architecture colleges, the architecture course sets students freedom to explore the campus whenever required like you can get out of the class and work from outside the classroom is possible in architecture course.

I opted for hostel in the 1st year. The rooms are shared by 4 students. The canteen food is the worst food I hace ever tasted. But the life in hostel with friends is great. The hostel fee is higher and we don't get quality food.

Yeah, the alumni network is very helpful in creating connections and maintaining contacts between students. In case of architecture the connection and contacts are necessary throughout their career.

I applied for entrance exam which is aldo known as kerala engineering architecture medical entrance exam. I got 824 th rank in the entrance list and I got merit seat and applied to college which is located on my city itslef. So after allotment process I got admission in the selected college by july 16th.

Fsculty system includes professors, assosiate lecturer, head of the dipartment, senior lecturers, The director of the department. Professors or lecturers will be only having degrees, assosiate professors and head of the department will be having master's degrees and the director will be having PhD.
