Remarks

The College and College hostel won't let them use phones. Even though phones are allowed in hostels as per government rule. The College is a little strict and still treats us like school students. But the College is free in some terms but controlled a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

B.arch is a five-year course with 10 sem. The First 2 sems are combined. There will be 7 university exams. S1s2,s3,s4,s5,s6,s7,s9.We will have our internship at s8 and the thesis on s10. The 2017 syllabus onwards has started a year back system and the internship and thesis depend on our s1s2 and s3 exam respectively. The results of the exams we write will only be published after a year which is the major drawback of this university.

Placement Experience

4

Internship for b.arch courses are dependent on our portfolio works. The College helps us in improving our portfolio. Placements depend completely on our portfolio. We sent our portfolios to different architecture offices and those offices select us.

College Events

1.5

The College celebrated arts, sports, workshops, and talks by architects. No big programs are held. Participated well on social activities. The College is improving with the cultural management festivals and planning on many.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. Hostel fees are not feasible. the hostel fee for 1 month for a room is 6000. The room is small with one light one fan and one socket. 6000 is excluding yearly hostel rent. College fees is feasible. Merit is about 1 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about those. I don't know the loan structure. I haven't applied or used it. Students here take study loans from banks. But we are not familiar with the College loans or scholarships provided. I doubt know which have availed.

Campus Life

2

The College is not into any kind of politics or gender inequality. Everyone is treated equally. The College provided the needed facilities. Labs are well functioning. Sports are conducted.no race religion or sex considered. Everyone is equally treated.

Alumni/Alumna

It is a ragging-free College. Strict measurements against ragging. Seniors are really helpful and friendly. They help a lot in works and their experiences are shared. They help us with our doubts. There are no senior-junior divisions everyone's a friend.

Admission

Attended the NATA exam and got a pass in it. And the plus two marks have to be scored well. Without a pass mark in nata it is not possible to get into an architecture College. Both these marks were uploaded for the allotment list.My first prefernce was DG College. And I got in Dg in the Merit list by the first allotment.

Faculty

4

Faculties are really supporting. They help us with everything. The internal marks are given in the right way. There are visiting faculties and permanent. Exposure is well provided with all help given. The faculties encourage students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very interesting and fun to learn as well as it is very hectic. Design subject and other theory subjects are hard to work on simultaneously. The submissions and work teaches a lot about time management tho.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it's barch the college provides each semester study trips to different parts of the country, this gives quiet an exposure to the students which is actually an attractive feature . These trips is based on the curriculum itself. There were also student exchange program to Thailand which gave a good experience. In our curriculum thefourth year the even semester that is S8 is for internship. This 6 months gave us the opportunity to work in real architecture firms and gave us an insight to our real architecture life after college, site experiences which made us prepared for our future as an architect. There are some subjects like professional ethics practice which is quite boring as it should not be based on theory but had to have real onsite experiences and in real experiences. Except the engineering subjects the theory exams are quite easy. The design exams is all about consistency and hardwork , it keeps getting more challenging through the years

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like architecture because of its creatove and practicality. And in pur college they are making sure of combining those two together. Their teaching methods are good for me because i am learning so much. But not for everyone they are sl friendly in outside i think if they are so friendly in college . The students might like the letures more. The jury and exams are mostly collide that is a not good thing for us. They are making sure of the real world works so that we can actually survive after the college.

Admission:

Admission here is given on the basis of rank secured in NATA. With my rank I cleared the cutoff in general category in third round. I want my college to be near my home. So I can travel daily from my home. With my rank this was the best option I was getting and hence I opted for this.
