Course Curriculum Overview

Colleges is affiliated to Calicut University and hence curriculum is strictly according to the guidelines of the Calicut University. Normally there are 4-5 labs/workshops in a week. No you will not find a normal day in college very hectic. Two major exams are taken every semester.

Placement Experience

Placement record the colleges is good. They also provide placement training to students also help in every aspect. When a student get offer in college placement drives. They Help you to crack internships but mostly student get internship on their own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for first year college is around 1 lakh including some one time charges and from second year onwards it is around 80000 rupees. Only also provide some relief in fees to economic weaker section students

Fees and Financial Aid

No I myself have not availed any scholarship, but some of my friends have applied for scholarship under Central government schemes. Also you will not find it difficult to apply for loan from majority of the banks.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is good. Infrastructure of this college is very well built and looks very modern. All the facilities provided to the students. Lapse and other facilities are up to date. Water cooler cafeteria lapse all the things are well maintained. There is no scene of ragging in the college. Student are helpful in nature.

Admission

Admission here is given on the basis of rank secured in NATA. With my rank I cleared the cutoff in general category in third round. I want my college to be near my home. So I can travel daily from my home. With my rank this was the best option I was getting and hence I opted for this.

Faculty

Faculty of this college is very good.Teachers are very good in nature and also well experienced. They are not arrogant and we'll be happy to help you with your doubts and queries. Some teacher are very passionate about their subject and you will enjoy while studying from them.

College of Engineering Trivandrum. Is it worth the hype

Placement Experience:

As I'm a first year student I don't know much about placements but I think it starts by 8th sem for b arch students. Placements for barch are low compare to btech. But as this is a prestigious institution the best firms come here and there is a unit called CGPU for helping students regarding placements here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Im a passionate student architect. From childhood, I had this dream of becoming a creator. So I chose this course. There is a good ratio of faculty student ratio in the private colleges all over india. I'm not sure about the teaching method because this is more like a self learning course. But faculties are also helpful most of the time. Jury subjects are tougher than written examinations.

NITC Glimpses

Remarks:

Ours is a National College. People from different background from different parts of india do come to study in college.I can't say that The Faculty in our College is too good. But they are quite okay. The faculties of the first year Maths are too poor. Most of them are ADHOC. Some Faculty treat the students as their own children, being liberal to them, while some at the same time just know how to teach, not to mingle with the students. Rest all branches dont have that much placement opportunity as compared to CSE. Positive 1.One of the biggest quality is the exposure that a student gets while studying in this college.The lectures are of high standards and the professors are of international demand. 2.An another good quality is the placement that we get from this college.people from across Kerala always praise the high quality of placements that we get in this college Negative 1.The lecture classes are very much one way, rather than being more interactive 2.Mosquito in some hostels
