Likes

The ambience, architecture and location of the college
The culture that they follow in avani , everyone feels inclueded
The space for creativity and grow, exposure as lot of lectures from different places are appointed and also guest lecturers atleast twice a month

Dislikes

The wifi there, there's no proper signal and always wifi issue

Course Curriculum Overview

Very informative course, lot of creativity and creative freedom, could learn and have a lot of options and opportunities in working field, teaches how to survive, course difficulty level is above averagely difficult, lot of sleepless nights

Internships Opportunities

As for architecture college doesn't provide campus placement. But still a lot of exposure and experience is given from college side. Certain companies like purple ink studio and stapati and few others are known by the faculties in college

Fees and Financial Aid

One lakh is the fee per year and the course is 5 years, I'm studying in management so it's around 1,50000, for merit is one lakh per year and for NRI seats it's 200000 per year and there's also scholarship

Campus Life

Less no. Of culuturals but still fun and enjoyable one. There's a library and lot of different kind of clubs. There's also mhat which is mental health session twice a week. Also therapist available at college most of the times.

Hostel Facilities

Fan, there are 3 types of room, four sharing, 2 Sharing and singe room. Fees changes accordingly. Food and snacks of the day is included in the fee. Good food is provided. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Warden is present all the time.

Admission

The culture they follow here, instead of just teaching what's in the syllabus, they make us learn about the field they make us think, lot of creative freedom. Teaches how to survive, no dress code , inclusiveness of everyone.

Faculty

The faculties here are very friendly and approachable, always helps us think Helps us moving forward in life and course. Jury and semester University exams are the main ones, the theory classes are taught both in exam and knowledge pov so it's helpful

Night Life

Cafeteria in college, around thamarassery theres not much like malls and stuff but view points are there in wayanad. And public gathering spaces are there in college that is open air theatre, triple height.

A PLACE TO CREATE YOUR FUTURE

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement cell in RIT Kottayam. From the 6th semester onwards students got placement training and career guidance classes and there are various clubs to improve your aptitude and chances to get the job through placement. The major recruiters of the campus are Oracle, Microsoft, Allianz, MRF, IDBI Bank, Infosys IBM, TCS, VVDN, WIPRO, Suntec EXPERION etc. There is about 75 % of students get placed every year. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

The hostel and college infrastructure are a little poor compared to other colleges but it is expected with the minimal fees given. There are a lot of festivals and programs and a healthy political atmosphere. The non violent conflicts between the two opposing parties lead to good development in the college.
