Likes
- I liked classrooms and the overall infrastructure of the college. Every classroom is spacious and can accommodate all 62 students without any issue
- There is a lot places to sit and relax in the college and also the main is never closed so that we can leave the college campus whenever needed.
- I liked the attitude and methods of the teachers because they always stick to the syllabus and also gives detailed notes about each topic in the class.
Dislikes
- The neatness of the classrooms can be increased, classrooms are not cleaned daily
- The food quality of the college canteen can be increased and currently the food available there is not good.
- They should give more free time because currently no free time is there other than the interval and lunchbreak.
Course Curriculum Overview
I feel the carriculum of my couse includes so,e unwanted topic and papers like IEE,IEC etc.. beacuse as a cs engineer i really dont need these subjects. The carriculum only prepares us little for the realife tests. The carriculum can include some more topic related to realife.
Placement Experience
Actually placements are available in this college and the students from 7&8 semsters are eligible for campus selection. Many top com[panies like TCS and Infrosys etc... comes every year to for campus slection and many students gets placed every year and the average LPA offered are around 2 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for first year is 95000 for me I got admission through merit seat so I had 15000 discount otherwise the fees would be 110000 for the first year, 75000 is the tution fees and the rest is for pta and and placement training like stuff From 2nd year onwards the fees will be reduced to 88000 per year. Other than this they charged everyone an extra amount of ?20000 for uniform and study material (Only for 1st year).
Campus Life
The campus life was average because there are only limited events and fest at the college, there are mainly 4 events Onam celebration, Tech , Torque,and Arts and all of these take place in the second half of the semester.The college is more foccused on studies so there are only limited extra activities and I think more free time should be given
Admission
I only applied for this college because i heard this college is nice and I thought there is no need to apply for other colleges as I got admission in the college as soon as I applied and the admission process was simple I had a small meeting with the admins and they explained about the fees and all, that was it
Faculty
The faculties are good and they always maintain a good relationship with the students. There are a total of 3 exams in 1 semester which includes 2 series exams and 1 sem exam, the series exam are always having moderate difficulty while the sem exam is hard (the questions are from university(KTU))
Night Life
Favorite sports were the basket ball court and food court and parking , in these places we can freely relax and kill time. The class timing were morning 9am to evening 4pm and sometimes class extends to 4.30-45.
