Scholarships are offered to the meritorious students on a merit basis. If secured GPA 8 or above and also, if they belong to the lower-income group, then they are eligible for the scholarship.

Sree Buddha College of Engineering Facilities

The following facilities have been created for the students to help them get proper assistance during their education years:

Central Library: The library is a three-storied building situated in the main campus spread over 1500 sq.m. It is fully air-conditioned. It is designed with the motive of providing educational assistance to students, faculty, and other staff members. It has a collection of books, journals, research papers, e-books, international journals, etc for reference purposes and to cater to the needs of the students.
Hostel: Separate hostel buildings for boys and girls is provided by the college with all basic amenities. The hostels are spacious and have mess halls. Both the hostels have a carrying capacity of 300 hostelers each. Separate facilities for studying are also provided.
Canteen: A neat and clean canteen is there on the college campus run by the college management which is spacious enough and offers a variety of snacks, refreshments, and food items to the students and staff at reasonable prices. Also, a searing facility for students and staff is provided.
Other Facilities: Various other facilities are provided by the college such as basketball court, gymnasium, playground, solar power plant for eco-friendly measures.

Ques. Does this college provide online lectures?

Ans. Actually, SBCE has collaborated with NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) in 2015. NPTEL is a platform that offers multiple online courses for students and recorded lectures are provided for the same. This is an initiative of IITs and is funded by MHRD. So, one can pursue these NPTEL listed courses via online lectures but for B.Tech. or M.Tech., no such arrangements are there.

Ques. What does the "Training" word mention under the Placement section means?

Ans. Training means helping and guiding students to successfully place them in their desired companies. This training includes preplacement talk sessions, seminars, written tests, group discussions, and interviews. Practicing all of this helps the candidate to clear the company's selection exams and interviews.

Ques. Is there any conveyance facility provided by the institution?

Ans. Yes, the bus facility is provided by the college for day scholars. A minimum of 8 buses are arranged for different routes and more can be arranged as per the requirement. The timings are scheduled by the bus secretary.

There are clubs like sports, arts,film etc. Tournaments are also there.
The tech and arts programs conducted by college is very nice.
The college campus has a beautiful view, with lot of greenery and an agricultural feel to it.

Admission:

Admission process was based on 12th grade marks and entrance exam mark. 50% marks in Maths and overall 50% aggreagte in maths,physics amd chemistry. And then documents verifications and interview with principal and after that confirm you seat by paying required seat.

The breaks are short and it is not enough in my opinion

Admission:

I preferred this college because it was closer to my home and my cousin studied there. I got admission through state merit. I got this college on the third allotment, on both the other allotment i got placed but i was looking forward to this college so i rejected them both. To get eligibility to my college i need a minimum of 60 percent on my PCM subjects. KEAM exam which is kerala state entrance exam, you have to pass it inorder to apply for the colleges of your preference. Almost every student i know have written the keam exam and almost everyon is in merit seat. Merit seat has a cut off of 25000 from the management fee which is 100000 and merit fee will be 75000

I chose this college because it was and is one of the best college around our locality and I haven't passed the entrance exam so i couldn't apply for government colleges. There were like 4 - 5 private colleges but i chose this college because other colleges were not upto the mark as compared this college

The friendly atmosphere and staffs and the opportunity the college provide is very attractive. The syllabus is taught very clearly and the education is value for money. Proper examinations and such activities are done clearly.

The campus has great infrastructure, with modern learning facilities and various amenities for student life.

Dislikes

There is room for improvement in the management of extracurricular activities to make them more engaging for all students.
The boys-to-girls ratio is quite uneven, which sometimes affects group dynamics and social interactions.

Admission:

I selected this college because of my KEAM rank I was offered a merit seat, which made it a less costly college compared to others I had applied for. It is a known fact that the college had a good faculty and infrastructure, which was alluring to me. Although other colleges I applied to were good as well, unfortunately, their fees were expensive, and I was unable to get a seat there. I remember this college having a very efficient admission process and trust- there was no bribery because the selection process was based on merit. In a nutshell, I have to put the fact that this college was the most recommendable source of education in terms of cost-benefit analysis.

Actually i picked up this college only beacause they having the course artificial intelligence and machine learning and also I came to know that they are having lot of naac and nba aggregation. Keam exam should be completed to get admission for the college as my case minimum keam rank of 30,000 is required for obc catogaries

Good campus environment, location is beautiful
Other than accreditation, it's a fair college among this area.

Dislikes

Management has no fund, keep asking the students funds for each program
College buses are not upto the mark, leaking in rain time

Admission:

I took seat in nri quota. I've given donation (1.5l / seat). They said if I need govt seat, keam rank needs to be under 40k. No special reservations were available. Anyone can take cse with 12th pcm(physics, chemistry, maths).
